Grant Park's Best Kept Secret! A true neighborhood bistro located in Historical Grant Park home to Zoo Atlanta. Historic L.P. Grant Park is located in the southeast quadrant of the city approximately one mile from the gold dome of the state capitol building and six blocks south of I-20. The park is bordered by Boulevard SE on the east, Atlanta Avenue on the south, Cherokee Avenue on the west, Sydney Street on the north and Park Avenue and Berne Street on the northeast. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, Grant Park is the result of a gift of 100 acres to the City of Atlanta to be used in perpetuity as a public park. Lemuel Pratt Grant, donated the land and immediately began to subdivide and sell lots around the new park. The surrounding residential area grew up around the park and boasts more than 2,200 late 19th-century and early 20th-century homes and commercial structures.

We went to support a neighborhood restaurant for Mother’s Day brunch. Online they had a brunch menu, we called on the Monday before and they told us there was brunch and the regular menu, but today all they had was regular menu and no specials. One of the guests ordered the chicken piccata and returned it because the chicken was dry, chewy and you couldn’t cut it with a knife. The restaurant still made us pay for the return dish and they had an automatic 25% tip included. I would say this was the most expensive mediocre meal we have had in a long time. If they weren’t going to have a brunch menu we would have gone somewhere else. If you serve inedible food and it is returned show some sympathy and customer care even a manager table visit would go along way.

What a hidden gem! We had an outstanding brunch on Mother's Day. From the moment we walked up, we were greeted with smiles and sat immediately at a cute table outside. We enjoyed a couple of refreshing cocktails and half dozen oysters before our entrees. The menu is well curated with lots of delicious options and a nice variety. We tried two dishes, the Thai Chili mussels and the spinach salad. The mussels were some of the best I've had with a nice balance of spice and richness from the coconut. The spinach salad was also very fresh with high quality ingredients. The food was fantastic and arrived quickly. Our server was delightful and knowledgeable about the menu. We will absolutely be back!

The food is fresh and excellent. I recommend that everyone share so you can get the feel of the various flavors! The coconut mussels and spicy shrimp are great for sopping (Southern term for dipping bread in gravy or sauce. The service is excellent and the wait staff was awesome guiding us thru the menu. This is sooo worth the drive from wherever you are!

If this restaurant existed in our hometown or if we lived in Atlanta, it would be our favorite. What a gem. A positive atmosphere, friendly attentive service, great drinks, and amazing food, generously portioned.

This is a wonderful neighborhood spot, with great food, cozy ambiance and affordably priced. The portion/serving size is incredibly generous. The Mussels are world class.

Had an outstanding meal. The mussels and the crab cakes were fantastic. Baked Brie delicious and a great wine list. Staff was so friendly and fun.
