This was the first time I had been back since the restaurant re-opened for lunch. We had a great table, fine service and great food. We could not have had a nicer time. Thank you!

We had a really nice dinner at Zelo and will definitely be back! The food was delicious. Highly recommend the beef tenderloin crostini and ciao baby salad. The daily special cacio e pepe with shrimp was amazing. The bucatini amatriciana was good. The pasta was perfect but the sauce was a lackluster. Service was great, but our server also had a large group in her section so we had a fairly long wait for our dessert and check. Not a huge deal, but we did tell her we had to be done by a certain time to get to a show. It might be helpful for people with noise sensitivities or impaired hearing know that it’s very loud in the dining room due to the high ceilings / acoustics.

The dining experience we had last night was memorable and the 4 of us left knowing we will return. Their new menu launched last night, and it did not disappoint, The wait staff was attentive, the atmosphere lively and welcoming. The food was the best any of us have had in a long time. Fine dining with great service and atmosphere.

It was our first experience at Zelo and it was a pleasure. All of the staff were tops in hospitaility and made us feel very welcome. I have several insensitivities to foods and they went out of their way to accomodate.

The staff at this restaurant could not have been more accommodating..we were treated like royalty for our special anniversary evening..even the manager brought us champagne!..the dinner was a 10..I can’t remember having a more perfect evening..this place really knows how to satisfy customers..best spot ever!

We started off with the crabcakes, which was amazing! I got the spciy crab with the linguine noodles And it was so good!!! my girlfriend got the fettuccine Alfredo and she loved it! They even paid for our dessert for our one year anniversary (we got the seasonal peach cobbler with the vanilla gelato, which was amazing) From the valet to the receptionist to our servers it was all around a great experience!

What a beautiful surprise. The place is so cozy and the food was outstanding. Fresh pasta, the meatballs were better than the north end of Boston!! Wow amazing food!!

Excellent venue from the greeting upon entering the door to my final thanks for visiting please come back when I left. Entree selection suggested was excellent. Lamb and pasta dish. I would not have selected just seeing on menu but was a great dish.

We had a great business dinner. Our waitress thought we were a family....we totally didn't mind sharing our desserts! Get the lemon one!!!!

Fabulous experience from the first bite of the beef tenderloin crostini to the hot, fresh cup of Americano at the end of an excellent meal. The food and the service was simply perfect.

Was able to grab a last second reservation on a night when the place was packed. From the friendly greeting to the excellent service from the waiter to the fantastic food, an overall great experience. The recommended walleye did not disappoint. And the pasta with sausage was also very tasty. The attractive room added to the overall experience. Would definitely return when I’m back in town.

We had a memorable dinner at this lovely restaurant in downtown Minneapolis. I recommend the braised lamb herb linguine. What a superb entree!

Zelo has the best team of servers, bus staff, and chefs. Fresh and delicious food that is worth the extra few dollars. Meals came hot. Drinks came cold. Must be a great place to work because I recognize many long term employees. The floor manager demonstrated “servant leader” behaviors. It was a real pleasure to see a well run restaurant.

I love Zelo's location on Nicollet Mall and the expansive dining room, with its high off-white colored ceilings, modern chandeliers and medium dark wood trim, is welcoming and comfortable. The menu is wide ranging Italian, from wood-fired pizzas to house made Pasta and aged steaks with a few wrinkles thrown in like Walleye Milanese and Beet Caprese salad. Our server was highly knowledgeable of the menu and attentive to our needs throughout the meal. Told my wife, that I plan to make Zelo part of my quarterly restaurant rotation, to see how the food changes from season to season.

We were excited about this place. sadly the results were not as expected. bartender did not shake the maritini as he should have. the crab cake appetizer was good. the meal not so much. the ravioli was very salty and the chicken pasta dish was tasteless. This is one place you can skip

Always a great experience across the board! Had the salmon with zucchini and potatoes, the chocolate budino dessert, and an espresso martini, all of which were delicious!

Wonderful food, clean, and service was excellent. Dress up a bit for this dining experience. It was busy when we were there and pretty loud with lots of conversation. But, I would definitely go back for the delish food and impeccable service.

Excellent food and drinks as usual from Zelo, and we especially appreciated the great service from Carina who made sure we could be out in time for a concert at State Theater even though we only had just over an hour to eat.
