Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Gave helpful recommendations without pushing for a sale. Great wine selection. Food tasted great and was good value for money!

Hand made authentic Italian cuisine delivered in a timely and friendly manner by knowledgeable staff. Definitely would recommend.

Pizza was amazing! Beef tenderloin was nothing special, and the peas and gorgonzola pasta was good. Would highly recommend going for the pizza. Service was good, our waitress was both attentive and helpful.

It felt like we were rushed. Before I was done my plate we were rushed. Place was not busy at all. No need to be rushed.

We've been enjoying Zambri's since it was a tiny,modest place in a strip mall. Now it's a big, elegant dining experience with food just as delicious and "casalingha" as ever. Our most recent visit was our first since the pandemic and it was such a pleasure to share the tastes and ambiance of a fine Italian trattoria, right in the centre of Victoria. From opening Negroni's to closing espresso, everything at Zambri's is first class.

The venison was amazing, the dessert was delicious, and the service from Jasmine was exceptional. It was the best meal I have had in years and was worth every penny.

All four of us had the pork shoulder. A favourite that never disappoints. And so nice to eat in a nice restaurant where the noise level isn’t crazy loud and you can have normal conversations.

The service here is excellent. The food was just okay. Super expensive for a tiny piece of dessert. The pasta portion was reasonable, but was missing something.

Had not been for a while and there are good and bad.. not crazy about the Ceasar salad but the crispy pork and tiramisu were outstanding!!

So happy to see you are surviving and prospering. So good many good Victoria restaurants have folded because of Covid and the economy.

Picked the perfect restaurant for a first date. Food was excellent. The special appetizer, Shrimp Bruschetta was very tasty. The crispy pork shoulder was slightly dry on its own but paired with the greens and tomato sauce, it was perfectly fine. My date's pasta was cooked very well. Capped it off with a delicious Tiramisu which my date said was the best, so had to try it out myself. Server was excellent and had good back and forth repoire with us. No one rushed us out like some reviews I've read, despite us staying well past closing. Very relaxing and enjoyable evening.

Lovely meal. Steak was done well , pasta was lovely. Tiramisu a little too custard-y for our liking but we did manage to eat it;) service was attentive and the server was lovely. Thank you for a great evening!

Unfortunately, this was not the experience we had hoped for as regular Zambri's events participants. The seating was 'family style' at long rectangular tables. We were seated next to a couple a third our age with whom no amount of conversation-openers got things rolling. Our sense was that the woman was hoping for a date night but got a boisterous communal gathering instead; just a hunch. A foursome of friends who came to the event were at the other end of the table entirely out of reach for conversation purposes. Another couple seated midway might have been a better fit for us as dining companions. The food came out VERY slowly, the first courses were modest in portion-size, to be kind. Then a quite extensive 'main course' emerged 2.5 hours in. Some of the portions were adequate while others were woefully limited, e.g., the famous Courtney Room potatoes, of which we each were permitted one 'baton.' Really? We were also very aware that as patrons who chose to have a glass of wine each after having the menu's signature cocktail, we were the 'poor cousins' of the crowd, as much time and attention was paid to the wine service. Having enjoyed several special events at Zambri's where the wine service was a part of the meal for all, we recall that the pace of the meal has to be slowed in order to permit an enjoyable and not overly alcohol-ed evening in support of the food fare. We left after dessert was served, almost 4 hours from our arrival. We enjoy Zambri's but sadly, this was not their best format/approach.

As always Zambri’s delivers with excellent food and stellar service. What is also nice is the sounds level is enough to make it exciting but not so loud as to render conversation impossible. The recent additions to the wine list are a nice surprise.

Our go to for special lunches, or really, lunches which are special. Always our favourite server who embodies the family hosted feeling here Never rushed Not fussed about our just having water The yummy olives and bread Both of us inhaled the meat lasagne.. soooo good... Businessy people around us but we ignore them (and they us) and it's a wonderful lunch with good friends

Pasta was undercooked. The focaccia was almost flavourless. Tiramisu was not layered well; overly intense coffee flavour at the bottom of the cup- it was almost as if I was consuming coffee grounds. Rosé was underwhelming. The tallagio & truffle honey was the only highlight. $100+ meal, disappointing except for the ambiance and the appetizer.

it was a great start to our evening ! Our server was really helpful, and pleasant, and gave great recommendations when asked. The food was wonderful, and arrived quickly, except for one appetizer that was a bit behind the rest of ours. The mains all arrived together, so that was good. We had a concert time we needed to make, and the choice of this place was perfect ! Good food, close to our concert venue, and efficient service.
