I have been a loyal patron of Zafron (even when it was called Flavor)for over 15 years, always enjoying the authentic Mediterranean cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. However, my recent visit was quite disappointing and a far cry from the usual high standards. Firstly, the pita bread, which has always been a highlight, was extremely thin and tasted far from fresh. This was a noticeable downgrade from what I've come to expect. Additionally, the Zafron salad, which has been a favorite of mine for years, was shockingly half the size of previous servings, leaving me feeling shortchanged. To top it off, the service was only fair at best, lacking the attentiveness and friendliness that have always been a hallmark of this establishment. I sincerely hope that this was just an off night, but it was a significant letdown from the experiences I've had here over the past two decades.

I have been many times and always have had a great experience - a much better , cheaper and QUIETER experience than Rumi's - a much better choice in Sandy Springs. My only objection is the fact that they charge an extra cost to substitute the various rice options - which are all similarly priced, so I do not see why there should be a charge to substitute one for another. Other than that, I highly recommend. Maybe they will consider changing the policy about rice substitutions.

We were there for a ‘ladies lunch’ with 5 of us good friends, celebrating 2 birthdays. Everyone ordered salads and all us were happy with what we ordered. One person had to send it back because she had a food allergy to cheese and it came with cheese even though the waitress put the order in correctly. Other than that, it was delicious.

Consistently a great experience at Zafron! Easy parking and calming atmosphere. My husband and I shared the Kashk Bademjoon appetizer, Zafron salad, and Fire Roasted Salmon(very fresh). Wine was served in a beautiful crystal stem. For dessert we split the Tiramisu. Service was excellent!

Never disappoints. Great ambiance, quiet enough to talk to your dining companion. Happy to see they are keeping prices pretty stable. When you looked at the prices you didn’t feel like you were being robbed. And, food always consistent and excellent.

Simple lunch of salad with an app. Mirza was very good, came out warm and fresh. Naan was more like lavosh but not crunchy. Ordered Arugula salad and noticed a lot of romaine as base with some arugula added. Expected it to be primarily arugula. Some slivers of dates, goat cheese and grape tomatoes. Dates added a nice texture and taste but otherwise a basic salad. Arranged for a side of falafel and didn't mind the extra charge as wanted to add to salad for some crunch and hardiness. Not sure why they flatten falafel for cooking as I think they tend to dry out. Would have been nice if they included a little tahini sauce on side like salad dressing. Sumac dressing tasted mostly like a vinagrette. Had a wonderful dessert - not sure what it was as we were celebrating birthday and server brought but it was a chocolate mousse ball on top of a liquor saturated cake then covered in milk chocolate coating. Yellow custard-like sauce and fudge sauce drizzle on side enhance the whole presentation.
