Le X2O Xaviars on the Hudson représente la dernière acquisition de Peter X Kelly au groupe de restaurants Xaviars. We were really excited to try X20 and more so as it was a special occasion for us. Sadly, it didn't live up to our expectations. The view is amazing even on a rainy, overcast spring evening. The food was good, but we hoped for so much more. The service was attentive, even though the most front of the house staff young. And the worn furnishing and choice of music playing just didn't make it feel very polished and inviting.

One of the best restaurants in Westchester area. I took my family visiting from HK to X2O. They were astonished how good our food and services were. Kudos to Chef Kelly and all the amazing staff members.

Beautiful setting overlooking the Hudson River with views of the Tappan Zee and GW bridges. Excellent menu choices, everything is prepared well and served attractively. Service is good, could be more attentive. Overall, one of the best restaurants in Westchester.

The Location, dining room, service, and view are all simply superb in every possible way. Walking in and seeing the room speaks celebration. Floor to ceiling non-stop glass on three sides with view of the NYC skyline looking south and Cuomo bridge to the north, this could well be the most beautiful venue anywhere in the NYC metro area. Mother's day had a lot of tables of families of every age and type, all looking good having a good time. Three course dinner at $100 per seat was very good, but not quite up to the price. We've been going there for years and years this meal was slightly below their al la carte regular standard with the price somewhat above. So, recommend for sure, but save it for a non-event day.

The ambience is really sophisticated and makes diners feel like it’s a special occasion restaurant. The waitstaff for the most part did great. The person who delivered the soup appetizer forgot the spoon and we had to flag someone else down. My octopus appetizer was luke warm. My duck entree was cooked to the right temperature and tasty. The bartender was fantastic after dinner. The whole second floor was really cold. I had my jacket on for the beginning of dinner. Even my husband was cold and we left after one drink because it was cold.

We are huge fans of Peter Kelly's, but the little things need to be improved. We've gone to Kelly's places since the 90's, and are big believers, and X2O's lunch used to be the best buy in town. Like everything else the price has climbed, and it is no longer a great bargain, but it is still worth every penny at $36. The lunch menu has expanded, and even though we miss the risottos, the selection is ample, and the specials are terrific. What caused the rating to drop from five to four stars are two simple but vital things - the bread, which used to be a highlight, was very mediocre, and the coffee was weak, unusual for X2O. The food was spectacular, but the little things need to return to their usual high level.

We arrived late for our reservation due to traffic and when we called were told not wo worry. From the moment we arrived until we left we were treated with the utmost courtesy and warmth. The ambience is amazing and our food was delicious. The $36.00 pre fixe lunch is beyond amazing. Can't wat to go back there.

I love X20 and have dined here many times over the years. I understand how challenging the restaurant business is now. The setting is great. The service is attentive but not as polished as it used to be. The prix fixe lunch is a great value and parts are delicious - but some dishes seemed tired. The duck confit was overly chewy; the salmon was overcooked and the sauce in was nestled in overly salted. It is these little things that make such a difference. I do look forward to returning.

The bar manager would not serve us drinks because "he was serving his staff free drinks and the bar is closed." There was no last call mention!! NEVER GOING BACK!!!!

Went to brunch with a good friend today and it was wonderful. The price fixe has lots of variety and the staff were attentive but not overbearing. This is the go-to place for special occasions. BTW valet parking is $10.

Food and service were superb! It's just onel large room, so a bit noisy. Once the sun went down, the beautiful view up and down the Hudson River is lost. I highly recommend this place for foodies and special occasions.

Lovely spot with a fabulous view from every window - both north and south. The food is great, the service is wonderful, and the ambiance is a mixture of sophisticated and warmth. I hope this place stays around for a very long time. It is greatly needed in the area!

We have been to X2O many times and arw never disappointed. The food, service and experience are the best. A bonus is Restaurant Week for a great deal. Yesterday's lunch was like a dinner. Please continue to excell in all areas.

Yesterday’s brunch at X2O Xavier was the second annual “Before we sail back to Britain” brunch. My oldest childhood friend (LXXIV years!) and her husband so loved X2O last year when I brought them to celebrate their LXXVth birthdays that they wanted to go again this year. Tyler took special care of us and we loved the brunch with the added dish choices so much that they are ready to book it again for next year! I was thrilled to find out from Tyler that my Veal Sweetbreads are usually an added offering o Fridaynights so I will be returning on April 26, 2024 with a friend to belatedly celebrate my LXXVIIth birthday with my favorite dinner from years past at X2O

Celebrating a friend’s special birthday, we hit all the right notes during Restaurant Week at X20. The view of Manhattan, the Hudson River, and NJ’s Palisades sets a perfect tone. I enjoyed the Ulster County field greens and feta appetizer, St. Peter’s fish with delicious rice and cauliflower, then red velvet cake. Yum, yay and thank you, Xavier for a great time at your establishment in Yonkers!
