My favorite steakhouse in NYC - the Park Ave location has a wonderful classic, throwback steakhouse atmosphere which I love. Top quality meat, apps, and sides. Service was excellent; no nonsense and quick enabling us to make the Ranger game on time.

Everyone was super friendly. Got there early for our reservation and they sat us down without an issue. Waiter was perfect. Staff was great. Food, as always was on point. Bacon, tuna tartare, steak for 2 and some green veggies. Everything was wonderful. Drinks, wine and dessert were also a 10. Missed this place, it’s been a while, but I will be back soon…

The staff treated us so poorly. They wanted the table so they stood over us asking us to quickly order dessert. When they dumped the check when we were eating dessert also wanted us to check the check and pay. The manager didn’t care that we felt rushed out. He just said sorry you felt that way. The waiter said the manager makes us do that. It’s a terrible way to treat a family of 7. It was a huge bill and they could care less. Never going to return. We use to frequent the restaurant. We are done. There are plenty of other great steakhouses.

The food , service and restaurant has been a favorite of mine for many years. The prices, however have gone thru the ROOF! We (2 people) , had a total of 3 drinks, shared a chopped salad, had porterhouse for 2, shared a spinich order and 2 coffees. With tax and tip, this was close to $300.00 ! I think this is excessive and the place was far from full. I hope they can find a way to cut back the prices a bit.

Wolfgang's Park Avenue is my go-to steakhouse in NYC, for lunch, dinner, special events, business meetings, everything. Delicious food, old school style, a wonderful NYC experience!

Food was great, value for money was ok. The waiter attitude wasn't good at all, no even one smile, we were not asked even once if everything is ok, got the impression that the waiter doing us a "favor" when he took the order from us. I also ate at another restaurant's branch in the past, the service there was amazing.

You won't go wrong eating here but I much prefer one of the many other steakhouses that have equally good steak and much better seafood and wine options (including allowing corkage). The low ceilings make it nearly impossible to hear, which would be a good option if dining with folks you'd rather not talk to.

Wolfgang’s on Park still has the best steak not only in NYC, but the best steak I have ever had. Cooked to perfection as always, with the amazing Wolfgang’s salad and strong drinks. I went for my birthday as I knew it would be an amazing meal and it did not disappoint!

We have eaten at Wolfgang’s Park Ave on several previous occasions. We ordered the Porterhouse for 2, creamed spinach and fries. We were served what appeared to be a T-bone steak that I don’t believe was USDA prime. It was a disappointing experience. I’m not sure we will go again.

I’ve been coming here for years. Today, the service was hostile to say the least. They sat my boyfriend and I near a corner that was crowded and noisy while the restaurant was almost empty. Every time the waiters walked by they bumped my chair making the experience jumpy. The food is consistently good but it doesn’t make up for the horrible ambiance and service. There are countless steak restaurants in the city, pick another.

This was my 4th time at Wolf Gangs. Sadly the food quality is not where it used to be. Porterhouse steak for 3 was the only part perfectly cooked. The potatoes were more than charred, black top and burnt. Surprised this was sent out and placed on a child’s plate. Which the kids left and said it’s burnt. Broccoli, asparagus, Mac and cheese and steak fries was ok. But for the price of these sides? They should be excellent. Filet Mignon.. asked for medium plus as ordered for a child, but was rare and bloody. For a steak house? Shouldn’t this have been correct? Service was ok, but the overall general vibes isn’t that welcoming. Smiles would be nice from front desk to sitting. I think I’ll stick to Gallagher’s. Where the overall experience topped this visit. For the price paid isn’t worth it, just not memorable like before. Better service At restaurants half the price charged here. It was sad experience, because I choose to take my family visiting from England here, and it was just underwhelming.

Superb meat, but too expensive. A dinner for two with a coke and a beer cost over 200$, with no wine; definitely too costly even for New York. The service was good and overall careful, however i can’t accept receiving the bill on the table way before finishing food and drinks only because we said we wouldn’t order anything else. Maybe these are the rules, but it doesn’t mean they are right and respectful. Final suggestion: add some brighter lights in the restaurant, we could barely read the menu due to the dimmed lights.
