This is one of our go-to places. Love the service people there and great menu for a casual dinner…..ps I’m glad they got rid of their very unfriendly manager and replaced him with a nice, friendly one. Thumbs up!

Always top choice for a wonderful neighborhood venue. Comfortable and friendly with excellent service and food. Also half price wine Wednesday is always a good target.

The cocktails were uninspired and they seemed like they were missing ingredients. The food was terribly under-seasoned and overpriced for the quality. The service was slow and inattentive, and our table was mostly ignored.

A very warm environment on a late snow storm evening, with a highly energetic vibe. Our server was helpful and provided time for selection and conversation. The tiger shrimp pasta was light and satisfying. The patio appears to be as welcoming as inside, especially for spring and summer adjacent to Sloan’s Lake for an evening walk to follow.

During our visit to Denver, we loved this restaurant so much that we ended up visiting twice in the span of 3 days. I would describe as a neighborhood gem which has a great restaurant at reasonable prices. Service was also excellent. Certainly recommend for anyone visiting the west side of Denver.

Happy to have "29th" in our neighborhood area, all these years. Really enjoy the ambiance, either the nicely lit high top tables in the bar area, or those regular tables in the dining room that cozy-up to the fireplace. Chef Corey's menu items provide a nice range of tasty options, and the recent snapper special was especially yummy. The service level from the bar was a bit "off"/sporadic that recent night, perhaps because there was a private party in an adjacent room, or ... ? Thankfully, other members of the service team came to the rescue and got our food courses out from the kitchen to satisfy our appetites.

We really loved the food and our server, Bradley. 4 stars because we reserved a heated patio spot (& put a deposit down for it!) only to be seated inside with zero explanation for why the patio was closed.

First went to West 29th a number of years ago, thought it was a hidden gem. This last trip though was disappointing compared to that time. This was mediocrity all the way through. It was fine. Absolutely nothing was bad. But absolutely nothing was great. It was fine.

Not very informative or accommodating for food allergies. Not much on the menu can be dairy free. Server was not helpful at all. Didn’t know much about what/how modifications could be made. I finally picked the pork chop which was overcooked - instead of medium rare it was medium well. And it was very dry because the apricot glaze did not come with it given it was made with dairy (why???). But I never was told it would not have the glaze ahead of time. Otherwise I would have picked something else. So I spent $35 on something that was not what I thought it was going to be and was not good. I also asked for a cocktail to be made into a mocktail. I was charged the full cocktail price. I asked her to adjust it and she had a weird look on her face (like oh was I supposed to order an alcohol free version?). I don’t know if my drink had alcohol in it or not. But I did get a migraine after the meal which indicates it could very well have had alcohol in it - which I am allergic to. My friend ordered Brussels sprouts instead of broccolini, but it came with broccolini. Bottom line is you cannot trust this place if you have food sensitivities/allergies. Best go somewhere else.

The welcoming and intimate ambiance along with great food-calamari, clam chowder, eggplant parm, beef stroganoff. Our server was kind and capable! We enjoyed a wonderful evening on a cold winter night!

My husband ordered the Creamy Chicken Pasta and I ordered the Ratatouille Lasagna, both were excellent! We sat next to the fire place in the main dining area to complete our cozy experience. West 29th is the perfect neighborhood go-to spot.

This experience was not as good as prior visits. The restaurant was unusually busy as it was NY Eve and the food and service weren’t up to par. We will try again on a calmer night.
