Wasabi Sushi & Lounge brings a sophisticated, modern take on traditional Japanese food to the greater Milwaukee area. Wasabi is the 1st Wisconsin-based restaurant created by Brian Park, who originally established himself as a successful restaurateur of multiple sushi/Asian-Fusion hot spots in Chicago. Wasabi quickly secured its spot as the premier sushi destination in Brookfield, attracting diners from all over S.E. Wisconsin & beyond with its inventive dishes, artistic plating, plentiful sake offerings, & inviting, knowledgeable staff.

Our first time here. When ordering our food, our waitress asked if we had any allergies. We both answered no. However, later that evening, we both had bad headaches. We're guessing it was because of the MSG in the food. Now we know why she asked about allergies.

Food was good but overpriced. Service very slow. We were 1 of 3 tables. No quality check, or clearing dirty dishes. Our appetizer was gone very quickly and the dirty dish sat on the table as well as a few others.

It was a quite busy Saturday night, so some allowance is made. Spicy Salmon rolls had a surprisingly strong kick to it. Crunch rolls were fine but possibly needed a stronger “crunch”. Edamame was a bit mealy and not thoroughly warmed. Service was fine and pricing is very affordable. There are few sushi restaurants in the Brookfield area, so Wasabi would be the default choice.
