We visited Ward's during Downtown Dining Week for the special menu. Appetizers were great - the Lobster Bisque was next-level delicious and the Chopped Salad was excellent. We both had the Prime Rib. My husband really liked his; mine was tasty but seemed a little tough - not what I'm used to from prime rib. We both had the apple turnover (which was really a galette) and it was wonderful. Our service was also wonderful.

Our downtown dining could not have been better than Wards, the happy hour cocktails my wifes sparkling cosmo and my Manhattan were spot on. I had the prime rib and my wife had the filet mignon, both were cooked perfectly and very tasty. Our server Cora was outstanding and provided us with the perfect amount of service, not to little that you had to look for her and not to much which would interrupt our conversation. We will definitely be back.

The food is good, and this is the best place in Milwaukee for Bourbon/Whiskey tasting. They must have a thousand bottles to try!

Ward’s 9 oz filet was so good!! The side dishes were typical—carrots and mashed potatoes. And the salted caramel brownie was worth every bite! If you like bourbon, the selection was great. Service was really good until the end when we were ready to leave and our server was MIA for a full 15 minutes.

Very aesthetically unpleasant place with bad service. The bill includes an automatic 20% gratuity but the service was horribly un-personable and slow. That doesn’t add up to 20% for me. On top of that the drinks were poorly presented. The lemon twist in my martini was just tossed in there with no presentation and the cocktail tasted bad. When mentioning poor aesthetic, I’m mostly talking about the fact that we’re in what’s supposed to be a quality steakhouse, and the lights are all fully turned on with no form of ambiance at all. Very awkward. Overall, this place is somewhere with OK food, but the food being OK isn’t good enough when everything else was terrible. I promise to not return back to this place & I would advice anyone thinking of going not to go. There are WAY better restaurants for similar prices. Find real value in your experiences. This was not worth half of what I paid.

Great! Visited during Milwaukee Dining Out Week. Will definitely return. Great Food. Prime Rib cooked perfectly. Great Lobster Bisque. Awesome Caramel Brownie.

Went here for downtown dining week for my wedding anniversary my cesar salad was ok the dressing needed something more, the sea bass was very good and the apple turn over needed some ice cream with it. My wife’s meal was ok she had the lobster bisque which was good but the steak she ordered it butterflied and it tasted like only half of the steak had seasoning on it, the dessert was a brownie and jt did not come out warm like you would expect it to.
