We had a group of 7, which they accommodated without issue. We ordered 8 dishes to share and we all agreed that not one was a miss. The winner though was the Cashew Chicken.

Food was fresh and flavors were well balanced. For our shrimp and chicken combo, shrimp and chicken could have been a little crispier. Biggest drawback is the price for the amount of food given. For example, our Korean BBQ Rib appetizer. 4 pieces for $19 is incredibly steep.

We have been visiting this restaurant for almost twenty hours. It has nee management and new ownership. Food is still very good here but customer service has become very bad. It is also attracting very bad and rude and hostile clientele here. We had extremely loud and obnoxious people sitting next to us and management refused to take any action. We sat in our table listening to horrible racist chants and server was participating in that awful racial dialogue and encouraging a woman. A bad experience overall. We are sad this place once upon a time was awesome

Formerly dined regularly in this restaurant. Re-opened after a long hiatus and thought would give it a try. Big restaurant but almost empty. No sense of ‘arrival’. Hostess tried to seat us (party of 2) at a small table in a ‘inferior’ location. I said I wanted a bigger table and was accommodated. No more than 10 tables were being served while we were seated over a 90 minute period. Food was very mediocre at best. Lighting needs some work - many tables were seated in the dark… Server was delightful and tried her best - but it is clear there is no management on the floor. Plates come out of the kitchen by means of a runner without regard to timing of service. Hot pot Soup for two arrives with one bowl. Dim Sum Platter was expensive for 6 pieces with small bowl of soy sauce and some other sort of sauce which was poor and added nothing to the dish. Main courses arrived on top of apps. Overall pricey. Wouldn’t have minded the prices if the food, service and ambiance were great.

So Happy to have Wangs Back. The services was Excellent. The food came out hot, and delicious. Very good portion sizes. Great Value and I will be back!

The service was good, not great. The food was good, no where near as good as the original Wangs. The food lacked interesting flavors. It tasted good but did not excite the taste buds. The decor was basicly the same as 10 years ago. We were hoping for outstanding and got good. Additionally it was overpriced for the quality of service, food and ambiance. Might go back and giive it a second chance when I'm looking to spend $285 on dinner for 3 (did order higher end vodka and gin). Recommendating choice below should include maybe.

Although our server was very nice we felt somewhat ignored. We waited 10 minutes to order our drinks and they came late. We also ordered a bottle of wine for dinner but it wasn’t served until after the food arrived, we had to ask the busboy to get the server. She was busy talking to the front desk. I realize you are under new management and there are kinks to be worked out but that is no excuse for bad service.

Service was excellent. The staff were all really trying hard. But the room was half empty on a Friday night. The bar was empty. It was dark and we have to agree with another reviewer - a bit depressing. The Muzak music nearly put us to sleep. The food was average and mediocre, at best. We can find no reason to give this restaurant a second visit.

This used to be one of the best places in PS then was sold. Food quality and management tanked. Wangs went out of business then reopened a month ago. I had such high hopes. When we arrived at 6:15 PM there were five tables occupied. When we left, there were eight tables occupied. That alone on a Friday night in Palm Springs should tell you something. The “famous” hot and sour soup, was like savoring a salt lick. Could not eat it. I ordered the orange chicken (figuring how can you screw up Orange Chicken) and asked if it was white meat. Server told me it was white meat. When it arrived, not only was it dark meat, it was partially cooked and tasted rancid. I spit it out on my plate. Horrible. We had such high hopes. Super disappointed. This place will fail within six months and will be gone forever. So sad.

Recently reopened. Food is very good. And the service too. However, the dining room is kind of ... depressing. Extremely bleak and dark.

First time dining since the reopening. Reminded me of the "old" days of good food and service (although the prices have gone up a bit). Everyone in our party agreed that they were happy and would return!!

So pleased Wangs is back open. We come to Palm Springs every year and always go to Wangs. Excellent food and service. Outstanding as always.

Food overall was very good with exception of Beef Skewers app. Not like it used to be…this was more like jerky. Walnut shrimp portion felt a bit skimpy compared to before but still as delicious. Need wine list asap. Server was ok but mistakenly ordered 2 wrong dishes for us. But it’s only the second week. Will definitely try it again soon.

We have been here many times in the past, and food was okay, But now that they re opened I would have to say the food is so much better, although service was slight off I understand because they just re opened , I will definitely come back , but hopefully the Friday happy hour at the patio with DJs and dancers would come back! We really enjoyed coming here on Fridays in the past years.

Supposedly still in their soft opening, that being said, service was disjointed and slow, food was mediocre and served warm not hot.

I know restaurant just open but when you open a Business you have to shine and impress . Restaurant was not busy and we waited 30 minutes for drinks and 1 hour for food . Wangs is an institution to Palm Springs but you have to get it together to survive . Food was delicious and price point was good . Martinis are not filled to the rim but just ask for it .

We had high hopes with the reopening… Server was friendly but announced immediately that she knew nothing about the menu and “didn’t know Asian food all that well”. Service was slow… not unusual for Palm Springs unfortunately… and they were busy. Food was good, but not outstanding. Definitely overpriced, but it seems like most every place is these days. Not sure if we will go back. We were satisfied, but not wowed at all. Host was great, and very friendly.

Happy to see their doors back open under different ownership. Space has not changed a bit, but the food and service were perfect. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed and wanted. The food was delicious! And it was hot when it came to the table, something that you don't get these days. Definitely worth going, either for the first time or again.

We were told this was a “soft opening,” so I assume things are in flux. The bar menu was limited. Our servers were very kind and friendly. We had to ask for a small item a couple of times, but otherwise the service was good. Dumplings were tasty. The “larb” wasn’t like any I’ve had before and didn’t have dressing, lime juice, etc. It wasn’t very flavorful. I wouldn’t recommend the velvet chicken, either.

We went on their first night to reopen. They will get better. Same menu as before, standard offerings for this style of restaurant. Service was good, but still learning the ropes. Bar service was slower than expected. We will go back.

Restaurant is closed! Open table has no record of the closure which led to a very poor experience with out of town guests after booking a table for 6 only to arrive to a boarded up building with a homeless camp in front of the main entrance.

We made a reservation in Open Table, took an Uber to the restaurant, and the doors were locked and lights were off. The sign on the door indicated that they should be open. Being from out of town, we had to wander around and find a new restaurant with an available table. It was very inconvenient.
