We went for my first Mothers Day, I had reserved a table on the patio for myself, my husband, and our baby in a high chair but they had no table ready for us that had an umbrella, and no one offered to set one up for us so we had to sit inside. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed with a big party despite the restaurant not being completely full. We were treated as an afterthought, our entrees came out minutes after our appetizer arrived as if they were trying to rush us out, and they brought out the wrong item for me. Once my dish was brought out, it was cold and mushy and obviously had been sitting for a long time. Just seemed like they didn’t care at all about our experience.

We hadn’t been to Vinny’s in a while, glad we returned! Everything was perfect, the brunch menu was plentiful with options for everyone! Great service and ambiance! We will be back again soon!

It was meh, the food, service, and ambiance. We went for Mother’s Day and my in laws didn’t really care for the food. We usually go all the time during the evening so maybe that’s why the brunch was off. A lot of the food was undercooked and soggy. Our waitress was very busy and was not very present.

We’re regulars at Vinny’s. Dozens of prior visits. Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars: Breadboard has changed and doesn’t include olive oil or toast. We paid an extra $2 for a small ramekin dish of oil on the side. The baba ganoush- like spread offered as a replacement wasn’t great from a textural or flavor perspective. The pasta in the Wagu pasta dish was not Al dente so much as undercooked. Water service was slow and at times nonexistent. This was not the fault of our primary server who received a 35% tip. We were seated in a back area that’s nice but can be out of sight and out of mind for the assistant wait staff. We’ll go back, but will then move on if we have a repeat experience.

We ate fairly early on a Saturday., so the restaurant wasn’t busy yet. The ambience of the restaurant was very pleasant and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The food was both generous and delicious. The service was prompt. As the portions were large, we didn’t have room for dessert at the end of the meal, so we ordered two to take home. Our takeout containers were nicely labeled with the containers for each. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Food, Service, menu choices were all exceptional. The Rosotto, shrimp and scallops, was delicious as was the beef noddle dinner. Waiter was friendly and Helpful.

We always have a good experience and frequent Vinny’s often, but on this occasion we were seated in the bar and struggled all night with service. It was not busy at all, yet we could not get the attentive service from the bartender (despite him never having more than 2 people at the bar). We would ask for drinks or desert menus, or coffee and would wait and often have to remind him. Not normal for us at Vinny’s, but enough for us to take some time off from the venue for our corporate team. We stay on less than a quarter mile away 2 weeks per month….plenty of other places to try out.

Alaskan Halibut cooked to perfection. Chicken scallopini was delicious. Server timing a little off, some interruptions into our conversation and water servers missing cue of water bottle on table that we were drinking bottled water, not tap. Overall, food was really good and we will be back.

Met friends for one of our stay in touch dinners and Vinny's did NOT disappoint. It was chilly inside when we first arrived but upon mentioning it the temperature was adjusted immediately. Our waitress was outstanding and attentive...cannot say enough nice things about her. The FOOD was incredible. I had the mussels and honestly they were prepared to perfection... spicy with a bit of a kick and oh so yummy! Thank you Vinny's for providing my dear friends and me a most enjoyable dinner get-together!

We will come back to try Vinny’s one more time however this being our first time we were a bit disappointed in the gnocchi as it was very very mushy and the Tiramisu was not all that good. But the mussels and my fish special were very tasty and the service was excellent.

My food was cold after waiting more than 30 minutes. Portion was small for 36.00 and came with nothing else but entree. My martini came in a wine glass.

The meatballs and gnocchi were absolute gas. I feel like a brand-new man after eating them. They have inspired me to quit my job and chase my dreams of being a 1920’s Italian man working the rackets of Chicago. 10/10

Sad experience. We went for lunch to celebrate my Dad's 83rd birthday. The food, for most in the group, was subpar. My particular dish was very disappointing at best. I had the chicken scaloppini, and it was a very small portion served luke warm, with more egg than chicken. It seemed like they pounded a 4oz chicken breast then coated it in eggs and fried it. Way too much egg on the chicken. As disappointing as the food was, the service was much worse. Our server was a young man, mid 20s, who didn't seem to want to be there. He was unfriendly and very inattentive. We had to motion for him twice, first when we needed water refills and again after we'd waited for 10 minutes for our check. The restaurant only had 2 other tables with guests, so being busy wasn't the excuse. Instead the young man (boy) was standing behind the bar looking at his phone. I've only been here one other time, but the last time was much better. We were served complimentary bread that was fresh and warm and had olive oil and herbs for dipping. This time, no bread. We had to ask for some when he brought out the food. He returned with a plate of 6 pieces of cold bread and a bowl of some sort of dip which I'm at a loss to describe. It was like ice cold smashed up garlic paste and was terrible! For this, he added a $6 charge to our bill. Really an overall terrible experience. IMO, this young server should not be employed at Vinny's any longer. It is blatantly obvious he is not interested in doing his job sufficiently. We won't be returning here, and I would not recommend this place to other diners.

The ambient, the menu, the food…amazing The server attending our table tho was a little too much, he was anxious about getting our order, and later we tried 5 times to get our payment, while we were still eating and chatting…he was a little anoying

Shelby our waitress was spectacular! I ordered the lobster pasta- the pasta seemed a little dense- lobster and sauce were flavorful. Other dish was grouper and risotto- I felt the risotto could have been slightly more flavorful. I felt the tiramisu could have had slightly more of a coffee flavor but it was good.

Loved our food. Calamari, gem salad, salmon, scallops and shrimp pasta were the favorites. Noise level is high.

The salads were so fresh and delicious. The calamari was crisp and not greasy, with a wonderful sauce. Great ambiance and service. 4th time I’ve eaten there. Definitely will be back!

Vinny’s never disappoints. This is regular favorite for us. The Wagu Bolognese is outstanding.

Excellent cocktails, delicious food. Our server Maya was very attentive. My husband (Italian) raved about his lasagna, and my shrimp & scallop risotto was divine. The shellfish were nicely grilled and the risotto was perfectly cooked. Brown butter tart was also very good. Our second time here and it’s always a good experience.
