Villa Capri is a small privately owned Italian restaurant located in Carmel Valley. Our Chef was born and trained in Italy and has brought his amazing talents here to San Diego. The owner Laura is from Mantova historic city from Lombardia, a region from the north part of Italy, and has brought all the charms and family traditional dishes with her to share with us.
We are a local favorite where everyone comes to relax and enjoy without the dishes to do afterward. Our cozy fireplace and friendly staff will make you feel just at home.

The food was really good. The server was extremely helpful and funny. They accommodated a large group very easily for such a quaint place.

The food was excellent as always. We had the lobster ravioli and the veal saltimbocca, which were delicious. As always, Brian was very courteous and attentive.

We loved this small family run restaurant so much we came back the next day for pizza. Excellent, fresh salad. Delicious veal parmigiana as well as chicken Marsala. Comfortable and extremely affordable. Great find in Del Mar.

Very disappointing experience. The pasta dishes we had were all very poorly executed and one was wrong, service was slow and uneven. Hopefully, it was just a bad night, but seeing other dishes that came out it did not look much better.

Friendly, family oriented neighborhood Italian restaurant. Seating, ambiance, and wait staff were exceptional. The food was served hot and delicious. The relaxed atmosphere allowed us to enjoy our meal. We highly recommend the Villa Capri Ristorante.

Everything was absolutely phenomenal. The service, the food, the drinks - everything. Even our token Italian was impressed with everything. We lucked out completely with our server. Even leftovers the next day were remarkable. We absolutely plan on coming back.

A busy Valentine's night, but we were served without unreasonable delays. As usual, food was great and our server was excellent. Plus a free dessert, too.
