Since 2009 Verde on Smith has been downtown Brooklyn’s neighborhood eatery featuring Italian cuisine complemented by friendly service and warm ambiance.

We are a casual, and romantic neighborhood Italian Restaurant serving Italian COMFORT food with a balance of fresh traditional dishes and unique chef-prepared specialties. We focus on attentive service in a cozy and relaxing setting -- we intend to give you the attention and precision you deserve without the formality of a downtown restaurant. We call it hospitality!

Were very accommodating of us with our 3mo and his stroller for Brunch on Easter Sunday. Can’t wait to go back eventually with a girlfriend for bottomless brunch. Could improve quality a bit with fresh squeezed juices instead of concentrate but assuming that’s how they keep costs low. Good experience overall!

Nice place on Smith Street. It was Valentine's but not very festive. But the patrons did not seem to mind. We enjoyed our meal. We would go back,

I was disappointed in the food and the ambiance. The baked clams was very breaded and didn’t taste fresh. The seafood pasta didn’t have much flavor and HD to add plenty of salt and pepper to the dish. No taste of garlic or lemon. I ordered the clear sauce. The wine was good, Malbec from Argentina. The staff was attentive and nice. Food was edible but not exciting or note worthy. Won’t be back.

Good food. We were able to get a table to the time of our reservation without waiting. Food was flavorful and the pricing of the menu for brunch has deals for 2 such as the bottomless drinks and entree special. Would definitely recommend

Great service from the waiters! The food and atmosphere was wonderful. The host who checked people in was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. He could not find my name on his his reservation log and proceeded to tell me and my party to stand outside in the snow. He was extremely dismissive when I affirmed that I had a reservation and showed it to him on my open table app. He said that did not matter because he could not see my name, even though it was clearly evident in the app that I had a confirmed reservation and email. He gave my table away and then realized he had made an error and then tried to work vigorously to identify another table, but by that time my party and my experience had been significantly negatively impacted by his rude behavior.

The service was amazing. The food was really good as well. I 10/10 recommend this place, this is my 2nd time coming here after about 4 years and it did not disappoint. Will be coming again.

Fantastic! Our Bloody Mary’s were delicious. We went for a late brunch. A relaxing environment and great service. I had the spaghetti carbonara & my husband had French toast. Both excellent; will definitely be back!

A mango margarita started my evening.I enjoyed Salmon Scallopini that was served with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The finishing touch was a warm chocolate class served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. My dinner partner had grilled octopus and spaghetti carbonara which they raved over. I thought I’d like this restaurant and I was wrong, I love it. The service was great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Food was ok… service was good until i pointed out a discrepancy in the bill and it was made to seem like we were lying… that was upsetting but they fixed it and apologized afterwards

Went for Sunday brunch. Nice atmosphere with friendly, attentive waitstaff. Wonderful Bloody Mary. Solid omelets. Reasonable prices. Will go back.
