Vee Vee in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, is a small, neighborhood restaurant operated by Kristen and Dan Valachovic. The food is best described as creative American, and we feature a well-curated wine and craft beer selection. The vibe is casual, and the menu modest but inventive. As of May 2022, we are open for indoor and outdoor dining in a seasonal patio by reservation or walk-in. We are also happy to offer takeout as well.

A great dining experience. The new menu is wonderful, with many options for gluten free and vegan diners. Enjoyed everything we tried. Especially good was the fried rice, tacos, and scallops. Desserts excellent too.

We are loyal, long-time patrons. Enjoy the low key atmosphere, attentive service, excellent food, consistent quality, evident care and attention of the owners. Recent major shift: a new chef and mainly Caribbean menu. Quite different, but still high quality. Really interesting, fresh tastes and top quality ingredients. Not like anything else around-give it a try!

Black Cat at Vee Vee did not disappoint - Chef Valentine's new menu was a feast of fun flavors - each dish brought a unique blend of spicy and delicious! I loved the Birria, the Empennadas, the Tacos, the Street Corn, the Flank Steak and Broccolini to name just a few. And the Soursop ice cream - YUM!! Cannot wait to go back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend a visit or many.

First chance to try Black Cat @ VeeVee and truly enjoyed the new menu from Chef Valentine! Great flavors (Caribbean theme) and interesting mix of small plates and more substantial mains. Enjoyed opening night and will definitely be back!

Vee Vee is a neighborhood gem, a place where the owners know our names and the servers seem genuinely glad to see us. The atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious, so informal that it may surprise newcomers how genuinely excellent the food turns out to be. Definitely try the shitake mushroom appetizer. There are always options for vegetarians and vegans and gluten free customers. The wines and beers are excellent. Vee Vee deserves many more accolades than it receives. And when the gorgeous patio opens up in a few weeks, it will be one of Boston's very best places to dine.
