Attirant l'attention tel un tatouage tout frais sur un avant-bras costaud, le Vault Restaurant sert des martinis excitants, des vins délicieux et la nourriture fabuleuse. Une fois à l'intérieur, vous serez invité à passer dans une salle éclectique et animée, et à profiter d'un menu varié et de cocktails alléchants, dont « le meilleur César en ville ». Érigé en 1948, le bâtiment abritant le The Vault a conservé bon nombre de ses caractéristiques d'origine, y compris le coffre-fort en béton. À l'extérieur de la chambre forte privée, les clients sont installés soit dans le lounge, soit dans la salle à manger du restaurant, au milieu d'un décor étonnant incluant des cadres de bicyclettes, des miroirs ornés et une statue féminine flanquée au-dessus du bar! Combinez le style funky avec des concerts de jazz ou de blues et vous obtenez un restaurant branché et décalé, avec une ambiance particulièrement décontractée.

Had the steak oscar and only received 2 prawns with the steak. The steak was ok some grissel in the steak. Wouldn't go back for dinner for what the price was.

We were fortunate to be seated in the vault room this is why I gave a good rating for noise level otherwise it would not so good, super loud

There were four of us that dine out together regularly. Seldom does everyone say they were completly satisfied with thier meal but this was an exception, all our meals were very good. The prices were about the same as a pub where the quality would be no where close to what we had. Wine was a little pricier than a pub but better variety. We will become regulars and invite the third couple next time.

My mother’s steak was rare when she ordered medium. Her meat was tough and fatty. The ahi tuna steak has excessive sesame seeds. The creme brûlée was the smallest possible serving for $10 it was not good value.

Chose this place for its reviews and unique decor. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. We had the set menu which was a little disappointing. The seafood chowder was very nice. The Kahlua Prawns were very sweet and had no flavour of curry or coconut at all as described in the menu. The Braised Rib dish had one small piece of beef about 2"x2" and a huge portion of mashed potatoes (my plate had a huge pile of rice). The veg that night was carrots and cabbage... We both wished we had ordered something else.

Not cheep but well worth the money spent. If you go online to check for specials you can find drink deals and appy specials. It was my sons birthday and a great meal.

everything was very good. my partner was disappointed in the portion size of her dessert, Creme Brule, as my Kahlua desset was about 3 times the size and she would have loved to have had a larger portion of the Brule.....

It’s been awhile since we’ve been to The Vault. We went with another couple for my wife’s birthday. We enjoyed it but I wish they would change up their menu from time to time. Seems like it’s always been the same choices for years now. Great service though!

I’m afraid our dinner was not up to the usual Vault standards. My husband and I ordered a salad to start and two mains. We got the mains and said to the waitress that she had forgotten our salads and she replied that they were coming. Two of us ordered the same pasta dish and it was hardly even warm. I was going to mention to the waitress that our mains were not warm, but never got the chance. She just seemed to be too busy and never asked how our meals were. When we received our bills, it wasn’t worthwhile mentioning then.

The Vault restaurant is a perennial favourite for my family and people who live in Cloverdale. Their food is fresh, delicious and affordable for a bit more upscale restaurant from the chains. We really enjoy the casual but specialness of this place. We usually come to celebrate an occasion.

great food as usual, a little noisier because it was quite busy with some parties. Quite dark and the elderly friend could not read the menu without lahying the lamp on the menu.... hahahahah

We had not been at the Vault for over a year and had been excited to go back. We took our niece and nephew. We were very excited to have the salmon appetizer again. The wontons were so salty. My husband and nephew had peppercorn steak and the steak and mushrooms. The steaks were very tough. Not sure we will be going back.

Really enjoyed the food. Service was excellent - first time anyone has ever offered a taste of a couple of wines before choosing. It was busy and a bit loud but we arrived shortly after Happy Hour finished. Will definitely be back.

I had the short ribs - it was so salty and tasted like the premade stuff you get from Costco. Server was not very friendly at all but she got our orders right. There was a large party there so it was loud until they left. Loved the ambiance but not the food or service.

We went to the vault for an anniversary dinner. The food was perfectly done and delicious, and the table service was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Highly recommend.

We patronize your restaurant regularly & really enjoy the food but last night my meal of trio seafood was tepid. It tasted lovely but definitely was not hot

Big shout out to our server for doing damage control. I was sadly disappointed in my main dish. My lobster ravioli came to the table cold and with that film that happens when cream sauce sits under a heat lamp to long. As a foodie, i follow others recommendations. I was told the chef Allan sorrel was amazing and THE reason I picked the vault. After sending my food back, I had to ask if that was the same man in the kitchen right now. Our server simply replied oh he left yesterday and walked away. You should really update your website if you’re going to promote and advertise a EX employee now. Won’t be back

Love the decor of the restaurant and the services was very good. Quite a few delicious vegetarian options on their main, and we went with the Butternut squash wellington which was so good!
