Valley Inn has excellent food and service. The main room is a throw back to another era which has that nostalgic feel. The menu is limited, but great if you like red meat. I don't eat red meat and my wife likes meat that is braised. Very limited for the both of us. With a limited menu, they do those dishes very well. My roast duck was excellent and my wife had an end cut of prime rib. The other thing we noticed is that all the prices where very high from years past. If you are going, you need to know that. It seems not an issue since the place was packed. So, my recommendation would be limited but a yes for a specific clientele.

Wonderful restaurant! The filet was cooked perfectly and was tasty. The chicken Milanese was a large portion of delicious chicken over garlic pasta. Also, arugula with tomatoes on top of the chicken. The chicken Romano with vegetables and sauce was also delicious. Each entree was a good sized portion. Desserts were yummy. Valley Inn consistently very good for years!

The food is okay. Prime rib was the best, but a bit dry. Pork ribs were very dry, although they did fall off the bone easily. The best part about this place is the martinis. Delicious!

What a cute place!! It’s like walking into the 1947s. Nothing has changed Low ceilings, decor, swinging saloon bar doors, lighting. So quaint and so nostalgic Borris the owner is so welcoming

Steak wasn’t cooked as ordered & for the price it should be. My steak was served to another guest & her’s was served to me. Once we switched they still weren’t as ordered. Mine wasn’t rare enough & her’s wasn’t well enough. The portions are very small as well!! Service wasn’t great generally & the bus boy (elderly man) wasn’t good at all. Didn’t even ask if finished with food. He just assumed my friend was done & took her salad away which was only half eaten. I’ll never go back!!!

My companion and I ordered the rack of lamb, which came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The lamb was delightfully seasoned and so tender! The mashed potatoes, though a small portion, were delicious, as were the fresh vegetables, broccoli and carrots. For dessert we ordered carrot cake. What a huge portion !! It tasted fresh and quite yummy! Our server was excellent, and kept coming around to see if we needed anything. The place itself is very historic, could use a fresh coat of paint, but the ambience was lovely.
