The food was great! We pretty much ordered almost everything on the menu and everything was amazing.

Service was mediocre. Lobster melt was extremely expensive for the lobster portion given - it was mostly bread, bacon, and arugula. It was also over sauced. Hot chicken and waffles did nor come with hot chicken, just fried. Crab beignets were good and so was the strawberries and crème dish.

It was a disappointing experience from start to finish, which is unfortunate because this brunch used to be a family favorite- emphasis on the past tense. Sure, it was Mother’s Day, so it was busy, but this restaurant has been a mainstay in 12south for well over 8 years so that shouldn’t justify poor service and food quality. Our server fumbled two of three orders and quite literally dropped three small plates and a knife on my lap. Our food had obviously been sitting under the heat lamps for a time, as over easy eggs turned to over hard on avocado toast. We had been waiting on our meal for over 45 minutes. It was frustrating to have my parents in from out of town and having such a poor experience all around.

Exceptional menu, music, art, and, waiter service. The brunch menu I consider to be exceptional and one of best I have experienced in my lifetime of domestic and international cultural dining. Definitely would recommend to people who love fine dining and the cost is irreverent.

We celebrated our anniversary with a feast on the seafood buffet. Started with delicious muffins, biscuits and homemade strawberry jam. There were lots of seafood options. Our favorites were the shrimp and grits and parmesan oysters. Service was great. Our only complaint was that the noise level didn’t allow conversation. Maybe next time we will try to eat on the patio.

Our wait staff were very attentive and helpful with suggestions. Food was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The noise level was high and this may have been more apparent because of large parties in one room. Overall great dining experience.

This was amazing. Had the incredible pork chop, trout special and shrimp and grits and squash side. Amazing . Shared among three women. It was perfect. Just wish we’d had an app like brussel sprouts. Wish we’d had room for dessert:(

We had four additions to our party of nine the morning of the brunch and Urban Grub accommodated, no questions asked! Our server Michael was excellent! He handled a large group of 13 with ease. Our cocktails, Mimosas & Bloody Mary's, were tasty. The biscuits and muffins were warm and moist. All of our entrees were served at the same time, hot, and the food was delicious. Overall a great experience celebrating numerous birthdays with family! Highly recommend Urban Grub!

Overall a great vibe at the restaurant, loved the outdoor bar area. Food was overpriced for small portions. Great oysters though!

First off, I didn't know we were going to get biscuits with butter and jam so that was an amazing surprise because they were soooo good. The strawberry jam is the best I've ever had!! Second, the service was great and they were quick to get the food out. Third, the filet was cooked perfect and the shrimp and grits were extremely tasty. Overall, it was a great experience with great food. 10/10.

My coworkers highly recommended this restaurant, and I was very disappointed. First of all, in my opinion, dogs should not be allowed. I noticed several members of the wait staff petting the dogs and bringing people their food. I couldn't eat my food after I saw my waitress playing with the dogs. Me and my wife left shortly after. Sadly, to say this, it is a one and done.

Very loud techno music prevented us from having a conversation with our friends. Too bad because it was the best pork chop I’ve ever had and our waitress was super.

We arrived early, so we sat at the bar until our reservation time. However, the service and ambiance were so good that we decided to camp out at the bar for dinner. Great decision! Anthony couldn't have been more accommodating. Bailey did a very nice job as well. The food and beverages were excellent. We look forward to returning the next time we're in town. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. He helped me navigate ordering with a food allergy. There were many gluten free accommodations. The steak was incredibly good.

Celebrated a birthday with 8 adults and 3 grandchildren and had a wonderful experience . Our server was spot on making sure everyone was happy and taken care of. Food and drinks were fantastic as they usually are .

We have been to Urban Grub many times and this was by far the worst experience for us. First, we asked the server about menu items for kids. She told us they have a pancake which we asked if they could add strawberries and whipped cream. She said certainly. After we order, another employee came out to see if it was okay to put the strawberries on the side which was no big deal as that’s what we were expecting. After our food came out, we inquired about the whipped cream which did not come out. After waiting a few minutes, we also realized that the side of breakfast sausage dod not come out either. We asked our server about the sausage and she also said the whipped cream would be right out. A few moments later, the other employee comes back by to say they are actually out of whipped cream and asked if we wanted him to go to the store to get some. I believed this to be a sarcastic response. Later after we were pretty much finished eating, our server came by to apologize and say that they also ran out of breakfast sausage. However, a few minutes later another server is headed towards our table with what looks like breakfast sausage. Our servers stops him before he gets to the table and seems to tell him it’s not needed now. I think she realized, I had noticed the sausage, so she then asked if we wanted the sausage. This is after we had finished and paid for our meal. Very bad experience.
