The talent is high quality. We laughed a lot. Some were great, others were good. None were bad. Overall the experience was just what we were looking for—a fun night at a comedy club.

The Stand is my go to comedy and food spot. Love the mussels and the Stand Burger and the delicious Markside drink. They always have great comedian lineups. Great for a perfect evening in NYC.

I’ve been a loyal patron of The Stand for several years, drawn by its inviting ambiance and delectable menu options. However, my most recent visit for brunch was notably disappointing due to a series of service mishaps, which I feel compelled to share. Our experience was significantly hampered by our waitress’s lack of attentiveness. Despite the restaurant’s bustling environment, she did not take the initiative to write down our orders, leading to inaccuracies when our meals were served. The errors could have been somewhat forgivable if addressed with prompt and attentive service; however, this was not the case. The young man who delivered our food was the sole beacon of helpfulness in an otherwise neglectful service experience. Regrettably, our waitress seemed more interested in socializing at the bar and with her friends than attending to her customers. This behavior was particularly frustrating during what was supposed to be a 90-minute bottomless brunch—a feature we were unable to fully enjoy due to her absence. Although the pancakes served were of good quality, they arrived cold. Instead of sending them back, I requested they be microwaved, a stopgap solution at best. Additionally, there was a mix up with our egg orders regarding the cheese type, which was further exacerbated by a lack of communication from our server. Had there been better communication, such issues could have been preemptively addressed or mitigated. The inclusion of gratuity in our bill added insult to injury, as it did not reflect the level of service we received. While I understand the practice of including gratuity for larger parties or special dining options, it should correspond with service that justifies such a charge. Despite this experience, I am not deterred from supporting The Stand in the future. I believe in the importance of constructive feedback and hope this incident will be taken as an opportunity for improvement.

Food was absolutely fire! We had calamari and honestly might be some of the best I’ve ever had. Our server and the hostess were outstanding in a busy and bustling environment. They kept it very professional and were excellent. Would recommend anyone check it out!

We had our team lunch at The Stand and enjoyed the food and service at this location. As this was lunch time, the place was quiet. The lunch menu was limited but we had the option of ordering something from the dinner menu, as well. The cocktails were good and we enjoyed our lunch.

Was disappointed by some of the brunch menu options, such as the burger which is literally only the patty, cheese and a sauce, nothing else and no sides. I could get a burger at a diner for cheaper and it wound have at least come with lettuce, tomato, and fries. Just didn't seem worth the travel time and money. Our waitress was also very inattentive to her while section, not just us. We, and a few other people, would have to go to the bar where she was hanging out in order to ask for water, mimosas, let her know we were ready to order food, etc... I shouldn't have to seek out a water refill that intensely. This was my second time here, the first was 3 years ago and the experiences are like night and day. Last time we had a great brunch with amazing food and attentive staff and we left as happy as could be. This time we left at the end of brunch and found pizza to eat cause we were still hungry. Fix the menu, fix the staff, and things can go back to better. But as of now, I would not come back

This place is overall nice for brunch. Food is good. The mocktails weren’t the best. I will say be mindful of the brunch special, it is a shame that although the restaurant cannot legally charge taxes on the total before the “special” they think it is ok to charge an automatic 20% gratuity on that amount. I always tip when I am out but I don’t appreciate being forced into an overpriced tip. The restaurant management should really reconsider this process as it is shady.

This place is very beautiful and clean. Service was great, everyone was extremely pleasant, drinks were great. The food especially for the price was very mediocre and bland but Drinks were great. I hold the spicy Paloma. We went to the 10pm show as well, I enjoyed it. Great space and good laughs. Would come here again for the show and cocktails.
