Thanking the staff in the hostess station for accommodating our table moving due to the noise level of other parties. They quickly helped us move tables and we felt a sense of relaxation immediately. Paul finished us off with great recommendations, accommodations for any questions and assistance. I will be back!

The best Sushi I have had in the Atlanta area and the service is spot on. It does get a little loud when all the tables fill up is the only thing but terrific date spot and can’t wait to go back again for great sishi .

What a beautiful evening, server was fantastic and food was even better than I remember. I haven’t been able to get into restaraunt so I have been doing takeout!! They have upgraded the menu and the service was impeccable

One of the best dinner experiences I’ve ever had. Amazing service and amazing food. Hospitality was a 10. Definitely recommend.

Omakase isn’t true omakase. They put wasabi in every single omakase. They apparently don’t allow take out desert after 8 pm based on waiter.

Good food, drinks, and service. Haru cocktail was my drink of choice and I’m very satisfied. It was tasty, light, and refreshing. We started the food adventure with multiple appetizers and the tuna tartare was my favorite. All of the nigiri and sashimi we had was delicious. Lastly, all of the desserts were amazing (mochi ice cream, creamer bruleé, angel cake, etc). The service was timely and responsive. The noise level was a bit much and we had some trouble hearing people across the table making conversation challenging.

The food was really fresh, we did the omakase and enjoyed the variety. It was kind of loud even though we went closer to 6pm. Service was horrible outstanding, but good enough. Highly recommend the duck leg and beef carpaccio the two best dishes by far. I have had better priced omakase but overall would go back.

Food was delicious. Impeccable service. There were many staff members circulating around to clear plates and glasses as you finished. We went early and were not rushed because we sat and talked for 2 hours which was appreciated.

My partner and I had dinner at the sushi bar. My partner had lived in Asia for over 25 years. He was very impressed with the selection of fish. Tasuku Murakami took special time to prepare and present our dishes. It was defiantly a special night for us and a memory that will last🥢

Outstanding experience as always. The staff are super responsive. Made excellent recommendations. Very enjoyable evening 3 of 4 in my party had never been and truly enjoyed the experience.

We ordered several apps, a hot dish and two rolls, along with 2 cocktails and a 300ml sake. Everything was delicious and service was great. The value isn’t there for us to come often, but we enjoyed our meal.

I went after a work meeting as I needed to travel the next day back home and I was told by my hotel staff to come visit and that It was a great experience. I went with leggings and gym shoes on and I was told to turn away and change them come back. I didn’t have a problem with that but it seemed that they either weren’t use to a person going to this place solo or maybe something else. With me being a woman or color, it was important for me to have a great experience and to be treated well so I came back and had a good experience. The food was great and I loved the presentation. The restaurant was very cold in my opinion which was probably the only issue I had. Next time I would sit in the patio section which seemed really nice.

UMI is a top favortie of mine and my husbands. We love it here and I was able to experience the restaurant this week with a top client of mine. He also loved it and I cannot wait to go back again.

It was really loud and crowded. You can hardly find a place because there’s no signs outside of the place to lead you there. Also, you can’t take your leftovers home. I won’t be back.

I will admit the hype around this restaurant was very high, having had a number of friends dine here. We sat on the covered porch which was quite loud but still enjoyable. While very good my wife and I had higher expectations for the sushi. We would eat here again, sitting inside and potentially getting some hot dishes like the Waygu which looked excellent at nearby tables.

Food and drink at Umi is always really good. It’s one of the best restaurants in Atlanta. It’s a very loud restaurant, we could barely hear the server, and we had to speak really loudly to hear each other.
