Ulele (prononcé you-lay-lee) célèbre la fusion dynamique des ingrédients des eaux la Floride, terre de nombreux Américains autochtones à une époque, y compris le légendaire jeune princesse Ulele.

    Great food in a beautiful restaurant with an awesome staff. When we go to Tampa we always make reservations here. Take a walk along the river walk. Feed the fish in the creek that runs in front of the property. Enjoy the sunset through the glass wall. Just a great experience.

    We have dined here in the past and had a wonderful experience. We arrived for our reservation and were told they did not have a table and were not sure when or if we would be seated. The place was packed and it was pouring rain, so we were already soaked. We had tickets for a play and could not wait for the table. They were rude and apathetic to our and others situation. We were not able to stay and left, again in the pouring rain to go to our next destination. We then got a "NO SHOW" by email! Bad customer service. Crossing this restaurant off our list!

    Our server, RICO was amazing. Our meal was second to none. Will definitely be back.

    We had Cameron as our waiter and he was very tentative to our needs even though he was extremely busy with a lot of tables. Food was excellent highly recommend the charbroiled oysters. My wife had the hanger steak and I had the grouper. We ended our meal with a flourless chocolate torte and scoop of coconut ice cream and a scoop of chocolate.

    This is my second visit to Ulele this week. I took my kids and grandkids on Saturday for lunch and met my best law school friend and mentor from decades ago on Thursday for dinner (she picked). Different menus but equally amazing. The manager and assistant manager were so attentive, informative, engaging and funny and service could not have been better. The art and super life size sculptures combined with characters from Lowry Park (now Zoo Tampa) make this an artistic and unique atmosphere for young and old alike. It does not hurt that the Water Works Park with the awesome splash pad is next door -- between that and the Gator Tail, my 2 year old granddaughter was in heaven. But I digress, the food -- the Ulele Burger is the best burger in Tampa, the calamari and Gator Tail, delish. The Chef's Steak and the Seafood Risotto, and Chargrilled Oysters - a must have. The filet melted in the mouth and the Short Ribs are a savory welcome change to usual menus. As to dessert -- it's the coconut ice cream, the Bourbon Butter Cake and the Key Lime Stack. Yummmm. Great wine offerings too and so many other things to try next time. Try it, you will not be disappointed.
