Ulele (prononcé you-lay-lee) célèbre la fusion dynamique des ingrédients des eaux la Floride, terre de nombreux Américains autochtones à une époque, y compris le légendaire jeune princesse Ulele.

This was our second visit, and it was just as amazing as the first time! The steak was perfectly cooked, all the sides were delicious, and the drinks were amazing.

We’re new to Tampa, we came here for my husband’s birthday celebration and really enjoyed their local native cuisine. The service was outstanding, the bar outside and green space is inviting and dog friendly. This is a perfect place to sit, dine and unwind.

This is the 4th or 5th time I have eaten at Ulele as I have been in the area for work, but first with my wife. We celebrated our anniversary here and everything about it was exceptional. The food, service and ambience were amazing. I look forward to returning in the future.

Our server was excellent — professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. Food is very good and very expensive. The appetizer we had was the best part of the meal. Server was also knowledgeable about wine and this enhanced our dining experience. We appreciated the menu indicated what selections were gluten free.

Sat at the bar to celebrate our anniversary! Nick was great. Food (po’boy shrimp and Ulele Burger) were fabulous. Wine (Groth Sauv B) and dessert (bread pudding) were equally delicious. Overall 5 stars.

This place gets a lot of hype, but was ultimately underwhelming. We arrived for a 7:45 reservation and weren't seated until 8:25, and we were not given any updates or offers to sit at the bar. We were eventually seated in a back corner of the upstairs part of the restaurant, it was dark, stuffy, nothing like the vibes shown in the photos. The food is nothing to write home about, it's an interesting menu, but execution was not the best. Service was very slow (maybe because we were in a dark corner haha), but they were busy as well. Clearly a popular restaurant, would go again for maybe appetizers and only if we were sitting on the first floor or outside, but there are better options in the immediate area.

Everything was superb! I had the soft shell crab sandwich which was delicious. Ulele is a beautiful restaurant in a scenic location on the Riverwalk. Perfect choice for any occasion.

I asked our waitress for a description of the Brussel Sprouts Salad. She sais "it's shaved brussel sprouts." Thinking it was shaved carmelized brussel sprouts, I ordered it. However, it arrived as plain, raw, shaved brussel sprouts drenched in a strong vinegar dressing. When the waitress checked on us, I explained all this, and said "I'm telling her this so you can describe the dish more accurately before someone orders it." Her response: "Oh, we've heard that before; let me check with someone on that. " She came back 15 minutes later and asked if I'd like to order something else. By then, my dining partner ate nearly all his food, so it was too late to reorder. I simply ate a granola bar from my purse while he finished eating. She didn't charge us for the salad, woo hoo. Worst restaurant experience of my life.

I haven't been to Ulele in years and this last visit reminded me why. The menu seems a little limited and the prices are a little outrageous given the lack of flavor and overuse of "char" (as an excuse for burnt food) for the price point. The oysters used to be the best thing here but this time each one I tried had what I think were rocks (something too hard to chew) in them. What was really good though was the Mahi Mahi. One thing that Ulele does well is their atmosphere. I love the outside seating and the ambiance outside. Inside can feel a little cramped when trying to walk around to the bathroom for example or even when trying to get a table or check in for your reservation. Overall, I think Ulele is a great restaurant but the prices are extremely inflated.

We loved the table we were seated at, the noise level was very low. Our waitress Emily was very attentive , nice and informative. Our food was delicious, we had roasted oysters, hanger steak and pompadour. We also had the flourless chocolate torte with ice cream/ all perfectly prepared. We will be back!!!

The food as usual was very good. Service was good. The places of improvement serving drinking water cold out with ice and temperature being very warm on the second floor. Staff was asked about it being warm and ask manager. Took a while to cool down.

We had reservations on Mother’s Day. Needless to say it was a busy day. Reservations were for 4:00pm. We arrived at 3:50 and were seated ny 4:00. We both had the short ribs which were amazing. We started off with the calamari which was very tender. The service was outstanding

Fantastic food as always. Service was excellent. We each had a cocktail that was just ok but all in all it was a great meal. We will definitely be coming back.

The server forgot to put in our children’s entrée so it took 45 minutes after ours came out to get it. Once it finally arrived, the cheeseburgers didn’t have cheese, and it was way undercooked. Not the experience I was hoping for on Mother’s Day.

Had the first reservation of the day at 11am for Mother’s Day. Poor service. 20 minutes to get a waters on the table. 45 minutes to an app on the table because the server forgot to submit the order. An hour wait for food. Was served an undercooked red cool center burger for 2 year old twice in a row. Server seemed under the influence of something. Couldn’t function or do her job. Only dinner menu available at 11am. Disappointing and a huge hassle to say the least. After being a loyal Ulelle customer for over a decade, we won’t be going back anytime soon.

The experience was fair. Only issues I had was miscommunication between waiters and servers that brought food. Appetizers came in, and we’d have to wait for plates, and forks. Also, the food portions were not adequate to the pricing.

Our party was seated 20 minutes after our reservation time-even though we were repeatedly assured it would be ready in a few minutes; waitress was attentive when we were finally seated ; food was excellent.

I ordered the tomahawk pork chop and it came out completely raw. I sent it back and then it came out completely good overcooked. My wife’s scallops were cold. Super disappointing.

Excellent food and service. The dishes were creative and interesting. The grouper, shrimp, and scallops (three dishes we had) were perfectly cooked— not a second beyond what was necessary. Biggest surprise was dessert — flourless chocolate torte — the best I’ve ever had, and truly astounding ice cream.

We visit about once a month and have never been disappointed. Last night the service was slow. Not sure if it’s due to where we were seated, upstairs in the back corner. We ate a good portion of our meals without beverages as the waitress did not check on us for a while. And this is no fault of the restaurant, a family was seated next to us in which the man berated his wife and pound his fists on the table until she cried and then watched him smack his child who admitted was a little bratty. Three times we had to ask them to have the child stop banging her silverware on her plate. Other tables were also aggravated. Just not an enjoyable night out. It was the first time four our guests as well.
