We like True Food Kitchen because of the gluten free menu for our 8yr old Grand Daughter. The adult food was good too. Servers are polite and friendly. We had reservations for dinner with our young grandkids (8 & 4) it took an hour to receive our food! 2 pizzas (gluten free) and 2 sandwiches for me & my husband. We live 25 miles away. So the kids were hungry! Try to accommodate customers with young children with reservations, and not such a long wait time! The restaurant was not that busy!

The customer service was excellent so we left her a good tip. But ufortunately, the food lacked flavor. The potatoes were overcooked, and the drinks tasted like sugarless Kool-Aid

Portions are tiny / best thing on the menu was removed: korean noodle bowl

My primary complaint was with the hostess...we had a reservation, checked in 10 minutes early and were told that we would be seated at the registered time. We then had to wait 20 minutes past that time as folks without reservations and the same number in their respective parties were seated ahead of us. Our actual server was great and the food was good. We sat outside and the ambient noise was minimal Would recommend on the basis of food, just don't believe if you make a reservation that it has any meaning or significance

The citrus salmon salad was amazing. The salmon was cooked perfectly. I asked for the Thai basil salad dressing and it was delicious. Great service as usual.

We had incredibly slow service. Our waiter was nice but didn’t come back with our drinks for 20 plus minutes. Many people came after us and they had their drinks and food way before us. Many were done and left before we got our food. I’ve been here many times and always had great service until this last time. The manager was of little help when some of my friends complained. Hopefully next time I will have great service again.

I’ve eaten here for years- but the salmon I had recently was dry and overcooked. The rice and green peas were completely flavorless. Disappointing

Everything great but Vivian our waitress! She took over 10 minutes to come over to us, then had to ask staff to find her, then ordered and received food from someone else and then she never came around and after we finished we saw her talking with staff members and had to walk up to her and ask her for our check.

Delicious bowl. Desert amazing! My only complaint was that it was COLD in the restaurant and the waitress wanted me To change my loose tea order as it would mean it “might take longer” because she would have to “wash the teapot”??? Other than that….

Very poor service ordered appetizers and then about 15 minutes later dinner. Another 20 min goes by and dinner arrives and still no appetizers . When I questioned the server his response was Oh that part of the kitchen must have been busy. And he walks away, no offer to ck no apology just leaves. About 10 min later a manager happens to walk by, and asks if something is wrong with my main course . It was a steak cobb salad. I told him that I like my appetizers first and they still hadn’t arrived. He said oh let me go ck. By now i was starving so i decided to take a bite of a piece of steak from the salad. Ice cold , not from sitting out cold , but as in taken out of refrigerator and never heated cold. So again i push it away , I am starving and a different waiter notices and asks what’s wrong. I explained and, said at this point please cancel appetizers, and give me a box for the salad and i’ll heat it up at home. He was actually very nice and as he was leaving the table the manager walked up with the appetizers. Any way a total f show. They did comp my salad and the appetizers. But obviously a totally poor experience. As I thought about it, what bothered me was a total lack of caring. I understand mistakes can happen but it’s how you handle them. The first waiter made zero effort, the manger never apologized or anything he just finally deliverd them and told the waiter that just came to help to comp them The only person who had clue and showed any empathy for the situation was the last waiter who just got involved because he noticed an unhappy customer. Ha he should be the manager. So my feeling is this is a very poorly managed operation, and would suggest that your chances of having a pleasant experience will be totally hit or miss.

First time here, yum!!!! Got the kale salad which was very good, little on the salty side but I couldn’t stop eating! Also got the edamame dumplings and I wish I had three more plates of it. The inside of the dumplings were perfect!! For dinner I got the Ancient Greens Bowl and I enjoyed it! Was pre mixed which I liked. ☺️

Excellent service from Lauren. Love the new chocolate chip cookie with ice cream dessert. Got my favorite coffee drink made to order since it’s no longer in the menu. Great food as usual. Love coming in at least once per week :)

Waiter was amazing. Food over the top. We got there before the lunch rush (11:30am), so noise was minimal. It was a birthday lunch, they gave a free dessert w candle!!

I highly recommend this place! If you want to eat food that's not only good for you but tastes out of this world, this is the place to go. The only issue I had is with the hostess. She didn't seem like she was happy to be working and didn't greet us very well. She didn't even look at us. She seemed ingenious and annoyed not only with us by I could see it with other guests. Other than that, the waiter we had saved our whole experience by just being amazing with our service, our food was delicious and we felt very cared for.

It was our first time here. We made our reservation prior to arriving. Our waitress, Lauren was phenomenal. She's the main reason that our visit was so great. She walked us through the menu, came back to check on us often, and had such positive, radiating energy. We will definitely be back. I will be recommending TFK to friends.

Melissa was a sweet server. I arrived 30 mins before my reservation and the hostess said she could sit me inside at a table while I wait. Melissa came by and took my drink orders. She was attentive and friendly.

It was my first time for brunch and I Ordered the breakfast burrito for a change. It was very tasty, don’t get me wrong, but the portion is so small for what I paid for. The service was mediocre, which is puzzling to me, usually get a server who’s very friendly, not this time though. Kind of disappointing, really.

Tried the Spicy Panang Curry and the season dessert of blueberry and vanilla ice cream. Both were amazing!!! it’s always nice to go and have a nice time. If you make a reservation make sure to notate if you want a booth, outside or by the fireplace.

I went here for lunch with several people. We enjoyed the healthy food selection (don’t expect fried or fatty foods) and great service. The place was noisy, as its large and accommodates a lot of customers. It’s very spacious and there’s a lot of room to walk around. Bathrooms were very clean. I would return and recommend this to those who want a healthy menu.

I was very disappointed in the quality of the drinks and food. I had the smoked old fashioned and the smoke was way too overpowering to taste the whiskey. I'm not "anti smoked drinks" either. It's one of my favorites but hickory is not a good wood to use for drinks. My burger was just "ehh ok" and the small portion of potatoes was disappointing as well. However- the flourless chocolate cake is BOMB!

We had a reservation and arrived 5 minutes early. We were asked to wait until the time of our reservation which was noon. We were not seated until almost 12:15. The host at the front was not very friendly and was very short in her answers. She also wasn't addressing the other parties (3 or 4) who were standing around waiting to be seated. the person who actually seated us was very nice, and not the host who originally told us to wait. Also, during our meal, we were never offered refills on our drinks and many were out of their drinks. Our waiter was very nice, though and the food was good as alwys.

Brought out of town guests and they absolutely loved the atmosphere and the food. A special shout out to our server at the Fashion Valley location - Tyler was personable, knowledgeable, and excellent! Thank you. I will return.

Great food and drinks. Service was prompt and attentive. Will definitely return when it’s warmer out for the patio

I had the vegan cheeseburger and was impressed with the quality of the sandwich and the non-meat burgers; my wife had the salmon entree. Food was delicious. Service was also very pleasant and efficient. Only problem we had was our table was an end table, closest to the outside door, and every time someone opened the door to enter or depart, a cold draft hit us. and with the outside temperature being just under 60 degrees, it was uncomfortable. The restaurant was full (Valentine's Day), hence no other table to move to. I never criticize without making a suggestion to solve the problem, so I suggest that with all the room that exists just inside the restaurant, that a small glass enclosed entrance alcove be constructed, with second inside door, similar to what is done in colder climates, to eliminate the direct effect on seated customers. Might also decrease the heating bill, as all that cold air coming in ,has to be warmed up.
