My lunch experience was affected by a recent menu change in which the one choice I have eaten for almost 10 years (the chopped salad) was removed and is no longer available. I tried something else and was not happy with it. When we are again at Fashion Valley Mall at lunch time we will patronize one of the other full-service restaurants.

We love the waiters and waitresses here, we love the food and come here frequently. The hostesses are usually kind of grumpy and more into conversations with themselves than pleasing customers , especially this last time, and we’re perplexed why we only get a few chips with the delicious guacamole, if you ask for more not only do you get charged for more but it takes a while for them to make them and then it’s too late.

When we arrived the young woman at the stand asked, “can I help you ?” As if we were lost😂. Well, I think You only do 1 thing here and that’s serve food, so I’m pretty sure that what she could help with. I’m always annoyed with front end staff that don’t know how to greet guests. Then she proceeds to tell us we need to wait a few minutes to be seated …… in a virtually empty restaurant 🤷🏻‍♀️. Our server was very nice and very good. The pancakes were delicious. The sausage patty is really more like a beef burger. I didn’t get any sausage flavor at all. It was also cooked similar to a beef patty , medium temp. Apparently they don’t serve coffees with dairy , which is fine I guess . But there was a cream that tasted like crème fraiche on the pancake so maybe they serve some dairy. That being said oat milk ( or any plant based milk) does not froth. So to have a cappuccinos on the menu only with oat milk isn’t really a cappuccino at all. Just call it a coffee with oat milk. The coffee is good. We’ve eaten at True Food in Las Vegas and it was much much better. I do t really really recommend this location. I’d say it’s pretty sub par at best

Food used to be better. It feels and tastes like the microwave is the most important and used part of their kitchen.

Steak salad to small for the price. Nothing yummy about it. Mgmt. Should rethink the recipe. After my lunch meeting I had to stop by another restaurant to eat more food. Stick with the burgers, you cannot go wrong.

Food was very good, service was slow and took a long time to bring appetizers - which ended up being free since it took so long - overall it was a pleasant experience - waitress was nice but overwhelmed and seemed rushed

The service was very slow. The breakfast burrito was simply awful. The macaroni and cheese for children was based on Parmesan cheese, which makes no sense. The overall price was expensive. I will not recommend this place, or visit it again
