Le Traxx Restaurant et le Traxx Bar sont situés à l'intérieur de la magnifique et historique gare Union, au centre-ville de Los Angeles. C'est un restaurant gastronomique avec une ambiance décontractée et une atmosphère détendue. Le restaurant sert des plats américains de style bistrot, bien conçus et bien présentés. Il est ouvert pour le dîner (de 10h30 à 14h) et le souper (de 17h à 21h), du lundi au samedi. Le Traxx vous propose des places dans le hall (situé en face du restaurant, à l'intérieur de la gare Union), dans la salle à manger et dans la cour, sur la terrasse extérieure. Le stationnement est gratuit pour les clients qui prennent un repas (valide pour une période de deux heure et demie, pour les lots B, D ou le service de voiturier). Le Traxx Bar est situé à l'intérieur du hall de la gare Union, à l'entrée principale.

Union Station has two lots off Alameda St. (Lots B and D) which charge $2 per 20 minutes or $14 for 24 hours (subject to change). There is also valet parking available. If lots B and D are full and valet is full, alternative parking can be found in Gateway Parking. Take Alameda Street to Cesar Chavez and go east to Vignes Street, turn into parking lot. Gateway Parking charges $2.00 for 20 minutes or $6.00 for 24 hours. We validate only for Lots B, D and Valet (up to 2.5 hours).
Métro ou Station
We stop serving food at 8pm, however our bar is open until 10pm. We close the restaurant at 8pm and ask patrons to move across to the bar area if they wish to stay. We are located inside Union Station, near the Alameda Entrance...the Red, Purple, Gold & Amtrack & Metrolink all stop here. Our bar is by the front doors, the restaurant is across the hall just past the Information Booth. We validate Lots B, D & G for $3/vehicle. Those lots are located on the West side of the station near Alameda. There is also a huge lot off of Vignes, we do not validate, but it is $8 max/all day. It is about a four minute walk to the restaurant from there.

The patio seating was nice and it was fun to eat at Union Station, but overall we had a poor dining experience. To begin with, my daughter and I both ordered draft beers. After 10 minutes the waiter informed us they were out of those beers, so we ordered different ones. After a long delay, the waiter came back to tell us that they were out of those ones too. By that time, I just gave up on the beer. My daughter and husband ordered ahi bowls. When the dishes were served, they just looked like a small salad. Turns out there was something missing- there was no fish. The chef had forgot to include the ahi in the ahi bowls! So there was another very long delay as the ahi was prepared and delivered to our table. I was already done with my meal by the time my daughter and husband got theirs. On the plus side, my tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich was very good. And the waiter felt very bad about all the delays and mishaps, so he discounted our meal.

I love the history of this place! The food was good. Our server was a bit slow and the drinks were a little expensive. But overall, an enjoyable evening

This was the perfect place to have dinner while we were waiting for our train. The location inside Union Station is iconic. The service was very good and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the chicken panini. It was perfectly done, the chicken was tender, and the flavoring was very savory. The side salad with a light dressing was the perfect fresh accompaniment. The prices were very reasonable with most items well below $20. We will be back!

CLOSED. The restaurant was CLOSED. You took and confirmed a reservation for a restaurant that has CLOSED PERMANENTLY. On my daughter's college graduation day, we were left scrambling for a last minute reservation for a group, on a day when tens of thousands of people had already filled up the local restaurants... because you took and confirmed a reservation for a CLOSED restaurant. MAJOR FAIL, Open Table.

The restaurasnt has been closed (out of business) for at least two weeks! How dare you take a reservation when the restaurant is out of business - and how dare you not inform me that the restaurant is out of business. Fortunately I found out early on the morning of my reservation (May 8). So, just to see whether you were up to speed, I attempted to make a reservation for that day (May 8) and your service was prepared to confirm that reservation (even though the restaurant had been out of business for at least 10 days)!

Traxx closed for good the night before our scheduled reservations. Parking at Union Station is insane but dining at Traxx was always worth it. I’m sorry to see it go.

The service was great the moment we arrived. The soup and pork chops were my favorite dish. I love trains and the Union Station setting take you back in time.

Exceptional care to their customers. Very friendly bar staff and restaurant host. Fantastic experience and very good food. Had the pork and the stripped sea bass.

My second visit to Trax. Service was great, nice Pinot Noir by the glass, and a perfect pork chop. Great for a short layover at Union Station.
