Have been going to Tony’s for 30+ years. Had a great experience recently on a busy Saturday night. Chicken Parmesan was outstanding, solid house wines, and delicious garlic bread. Dessert was fantastic - loved the lemon marscapone cake!

Simple, old school, Italian restaurant in German Village area. First time dining in, but previously had enjoyed their carry out. Attentive service, generous portions, and overall very good food! Cocktails are on the small side, but appropriately priced for the portion. Limited wine menu compared to other comparable restaurants in the Columbus area. Our server so very kind and knowledgeable and we left (beyond) full and happy with our choice to dine here. We will be back! Also they do have some parking behind the building which is nice for this part of town.

Our recent dinner experience at Tony's left much to be desired. The service was subpar, with our server displaying incompetence in basic tasks like opening a wine bottle. Furthermore, spills from our pasta dish were left unattended on the floor, contributing to a messy dining environment. Despite the restaurant not being busy, the pace of service was extremely slow, leading to a premature finish of our wine before the entrees arrived. Attempting to provide feedback to the owner proved disappointing, as he exhibited a dismissive and cocky attitude. When addressing the issue with him he simply shrugged his shoulders and asked what we wanted him to do about it. While he offered complimentary dessert and a future bottle of wine as a gesture of goodwill, it wasn't enough to offset the overall disappointing experience. One shining aspect was the service provided by Jen, who demonstrated professionalism and competence. If she were in a managerial or ownership role, the dining experience might have been vastly improved. In summary, Tony's falls short of expectations due to poor service and a lackluster response to feedback. Unless significant improvements are made, I won't be returning anytime soon.
