First The food was great! I’ve dined at Tommy’s plenty of times and I was absolutely embarrassed with my guests because I said how wonderful it was. The service was absolutely horrendous. The restaurant was not busy and looked like our waitress had only 1 other table besides ours. The waitress came to my table a total of 3 times. We waited 15 minutes before anyone greeted us at our table. She never greeted us or told my wife happy Mother’s Day. She just asked if we wanted something else besides water. Since we were sitting there for so long we already had the menu mapped out so we ordered Apps with our drinks. She didn’t bring out our drinks or apps someone else did. She came to the table not to ask about our food or drinks but to ask if we were ready to order entrees. We ordered and asked for water refills. She didn’t take out menus from us after we ordered and never returned. We had dirty plates menus and empty drinks for a very long time. When the food came out we he guy bringing the food had to put the tray down to bus our table and we asked again for more water with none available. My wife and I wanted another cocktail each and a bottle of wine but the food was already there and we figured it would take too long. I was upset and I just asked the waitress if she could bring 6 boxes and the check . We paid and we left very upset. I wasn’t going to let that ruin my wife’s Mother’s Day. We ended up going to the chandelier bar at the four seasons where we were promptly served as they were way busier than Tommy’s . We ended up getting 4 cocktails each which we wanted to do at Tommy’s.

Food was flow. It took an hour for us to get coffee. The servers and hostess were nice, but the experience made me never want to come back. I hope the server finds another job because she deserves to be working in a better restaurant. 10/10 would not recommend.

We live in Lafayette and have a condo above Tommy’s. At one time we were regulars but so much has changed that we rarely return. Our server LaLa was wonderful and we had a nice experience. But please, please bring back the fish dish with corn maque choux and fried string sweet potato straws. Surely it was a customer favorite.

The food was delicious and service was great thrr we y even brought a Banana Fosters with a candle for our friends birthday.

Wonderful food, great wine, welcoming and outstanding service by our server Leon who went “above and beyond” to ensure we had an amazing experience! We were able to meet the Exec Chef and share some special time chatting with her about her love of the food and creating a memorable experience for her guests. Highly recommend an evening at Tommy’s! Delicious food and generous portions. Large wine selection. Our server, Gianni, was attentive and professional. One of our favorites in the downtown areas.
