First The food was great! I’ve dined at Tommy’s plenty of times and I was absolutely embarrassed with my guests because I said how wonderful it was. The service was absolutely horrendous. The restaurant was not busy and looked like our waitress had only 1 other table besides ours. The waitress came to my table a total of 3 times. We waited 15 minutes before anyone greeted us at our table. She never greeted us or told my wife happy Mother’s Day. She just asked if we wanted something else besides water. Since we were sitting there for so long we already had the menu mapped out so we ordered Apps with our drinks. She didn’t bring out our drinks or apps someone else did. She came to the table not to ask about our food or drinks but to ask if we were ready to order entrees. We ordered and asked for water refills. She didn’t take out menus from us after we ordered and never returned. We had dirty plates menus and empty drinks for a very long time. When the food came out we he guy bringing the food had to put the tray down to bus our table and we asked again for more water with none available. My wife and I wanted another cocktail each and a bottle of wine but the food was already there and we figured it would take too long. I was upset and I just asked the waitress if she could bring 6 boxes and the check . We paid and we left very upset. I wasn’t going to let that ruin my wife’s Mother’s Day. We ended up going to the chandelier bar at the four seasons where we were promptly served as they were way busier than Tommy’s . We ended up getting 4 cocktails each which we wanted to do at Tommy’s.

Food was flow. It took an hour for us to get coffee. The servers and hostess were nice, but the experience made me never want to come back. I hope the server finds another job because she deserves to be working in a better restaurant. 10/10 would not recommend.

We live in Lafayette and have a condo above Tommy’s. At one time we were regulars but so much has changed that we rarely return. Our server LaLa was wonderful and we had a nice experience. But please, please bring back the fish dish with corn maque choux and fried string sweet potato straws. Surely it was a customer favorite.

Wonderful food, great wine, welcoming and outstanding service by our server Leon who went “above and beyond” to ensure we had an amazing experience! We were able to meet the Exec Chef and share some special time chatting with her about her love of the food and creating a memorable experience for her guests. Highly recommend an evening at Tommy’s! Delicious food and generous portions. Large wine selection. Our server, Gianni, was attentive and professional. One of our favorites in the downtown areas.

The manager is hard to explain. He was arrogant and mean. They were running behind. Everybody was upset. And the food was cold. Save your time. No need to go here. Many more amazing experiences. Everything starts at the top. The waitress is weird. I would never go back. Arveen was his name.

Terrible service. Steaks were cold, we had to serve our own water, orders was wrong, and it took 2 hours to get our food, and we never got our dessert.

Reservations at 9:15 , drinks arrived 9:40, 10:30 still no food- people around us seated after us had their food. Everyone with our waitress … no food. Got up to inquire and she went to check 3 out of 4 dishes came out cold. They offered to remake them but at 10:40 you aren’t waiting for food to come out hot. Manager came to apologize but again- not looking for a free meal or a discount. Will not go to Tommy’s again. Would not recommend

Our particular waiter was not knowledgeable about the wine and was a bit slow to bring menus and water. Later in the meal this person seemed more attentive, so maybe it was just a busy time. Fish entree was great! Wonderful blend of flavors. Chicken parmesan was ok, but we've had better in the NOLA area. Appetizers were tasty and filling. I'm not convinced that the wine we ordered is what we were given. Label didn't match description in menu.

The redfish dishes we got were a little too salty but not to the point of inedible. The service was impeccable and we really enjoyed the ambiance. Good place for a nice quiet evening out.

We came for our 1st wedding anniversary from Lafayette and absolutely LOVED it. I got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and my husband got the chicken parmigiana. He said it’s the best chicken parm he’s ever eaten! Leon was our server and treated us like royalty! Leon went above and beyond by treating us to some wine and bread pudding. We are going to remember that forever :) such a sweet and down to earth person! Definitely recommend Tommy’s and we will be back!

Pretty spce but very noisy. Food was ok but Fra Diablo was so hot it was practically inedible- and I like hot. Wine prices were incredibly reasonable.

Nice Italian ‘sunday gravy’ dining in NOLA if you are looking to branch out from cajun fare. Would be good for date night, good wine list.

Tommy’s was great. Best eggplant parm! Our server, Crystal was wonderful and they even had a kids menu for our younger kiddo. We’ll definitely return to Tommy’s.

First time eating here and understand the emptiness of what likely was a once prominent New Orleans restaurant. Although I was the lone one who sent my significantly salty fish capri dish back to the kitchen, others at the table complained but didn’t want to bother with sending their entrees back after waiting 50 minutes. Additionally, when my daughter checked her credit card, she was disappointed to see that the waiter took it upon himself to add a 20% ($17) tip to her card. She and I split the tab and I had already paid an 18% tip ($30) of the entire bill. Fortunately, the manager did refund that additional amount back to her credit card. We have no plans to return to Tommy’s.

Had a great date night here with the wife. Atmosphere was great and had a table with very little foot traffic. Service:( our server La La was on point all night. Wine selection was excellent. Low stars on food as it was just ok. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t oh my god this is great. Felt typical American Italian food done ok. With that said, would absolutely go back for the service and atmosphere
