Unfortunately this time our dinner did not live up to our expectations or past visits. The caprese salad had a yellow tomato that was a major part of the salad that was very hard and not close to ripe. I had the lamb chops, which were cooked as I requested, but the sauce was so spicy that it overwhelmed the taste of the lamb. My husbands short ribs however were very good. We had so enjoyed our dinners previously at Toma that we were disappointed this time.

We have dined here whenever we are in Santa Barbara and have never been disappointed. The service is always attentive and the food is innovative and a tasty treat. Highly recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Toma. Our waiter was excellent, very attentive and helpful. We both enjoyed the fish of the day which was halibut, perfectly cooked and served with polenta , mushrooms and red wine jus. Sparkling rose, pilsner beer and beautiful Santa Barbara wine were delicious and reasonably priced. We also liked the ambience and lighting (dark!) in the restaurant. One of our two favourite meals in a 10 day Road trip.

The food is outstanding. The squash blossoms are not to be missed (try them)! The seafood pasta with freshly made tagliatelle - sumptuous. Everything was delicious. And the service is IMPECCABLE! We’ve been numerous times and Toma never fails to exceed expectations.

It was an amazing spot for an anniversary. The food was amazing and the desserts ended our dinner in the best way. Would absolutely go again and recommend.

The ambience was lovely, the waiter attentive and the food was AMAZING! I had the lasagne, my daughter the short rib and her two friends had a rigatoni. Waiter helped us pick a nice bottle of wine and we ended the evening sharing the chocolate torte for dessert.

The food was delicious but the pace of the meal was rushed. Did not have a dining experience but more like sit-down fast food.

Cocktails, pasta entrees were delicious. Service is wonderful. I usually steer clear of tourist areas but have no fear. Fine dining. Lovely experience.
