My experience started off pretty bad, we had a horrible server, started off by slamming our drinks on the table, she was very overwhelmed which I can understand, however the attitude and non knowledge of the menu was unbearable. Proper service is if a beer is served from a bottle the server should pour table side not bring from the bar poured. I sent it back as it looked like a short pour, thinking since it came in the glass it was tap. This server has a lot to learn and should not have had as big of a section she had. Food started off great, the fried green tomatoes and the Burrata and Bread was great. Menu reads as basil oil but it’s actually pesto, as a person with a nut allergy it was important to know if the pesto had nuts, server had no clue. Menu should read as pesto not basil oil. Biggest disappointment of the meal was the steak chimmichurri, it was a 3-4 ounce piece of meat over seasoned fries with the sauce on top, served super rare. For 26 bucks 3-4 ounce of court steak is a joke and a rip off. Only saving grace is that the apps were great. Great ambiance, beautiful setting. Tried our best to not allow the horrible service and the disappointment in the entree not take away from the good points. Not from Atlanta so no big deal for me, but for the residents you deserve better.

Big disappointment. Waited 30 minutes to be seated with a reservation. The restaurant is very loud. Drinks were pretty good although I received the wrong second drink, it was actually better than the first so it was okay. The service was really slow. 4 salads were bad- the chicken was cold & dry. Brought fresh chicken about 25 minutes later, not a new salad just more chewy, bad tasting chicken. Salad was very dry. The manager was apologetic and took the salads off the bill. But charged a mandatory 20% gratuity on the original total not stated on menu and not a big group. So I’m supposed to pay 20% to a bad server who served bad food and I had to go to the hotel bar at 11 pm at my hotel because we were all still hungry? I don’t know how they have any good reviews because it was a huge disappointment.

The host and our waiter were so nice. The restaurant is smaller than expected but still very nice with good ambiance. The menu seemed limited to the one listed here on the app. I ordered a salad and it was hot?? but I would definitely recommend their side of mac and cheese. Other people at the table said the sushi is good too. Only slight inconvenience was the wait time to get food and drinks.

Stopped by to get a bite before attending The Moth at the Balzer Theater and couldn’t have been more delighted with the ambience, the food, and the service.

I think they are understaffed before big concerts!! Our waiter was excellent but was too busy to be attentive. Not his fault but management should work to staff up

Good place to eat dinner near the Tabernacle & Centennial Park. Food was good. I loved the firecracker roll and the pot stickers. Hubs got fried green tomatoes and a burger. Both were okay, but slight under-seasoned. Mixed drinks were delicious, but FYI happy hour is for the bar only (if I had known, I’d have ordered my drink from the bar and then gone to my table). Our waitress was very nice, timing the food well, and provided good service. Not a perfect five star place, but good enough that we will be back next time we are headed to a show.

Came here for my birthday dinner while visiting in Atlanta. Definitely worth trying and the food was great- for a decent price too. Definitely recommend

I had the kale Caesar salad it was good but I would try something different on the next visit. The restaurant was very accommodating and the manager Chanel was really great!

Arrived at 5:25 for a 5:30 reservation. Was immediately seated, but took 30 minutes for a cocktail to arrive. Then, over an hour later for our food, with our waiter difficult to find the whole time. Then the wrong food arrived, and he said it would be an hour more to correct it. Worst service experience ever. Ruined our anniversary dinner.

We decided to try Thrive after seeing their great rating on OpenTable… unfortunately the experience was pretty terrible. Both meals tasted (and looked) like they had been prepared days ahead and reheated to lukewarm just before being set on our table. It was edible, as leftovers are, but very disappointing.

It was a good experience and worth the walk over from the other side of downtown Atlanta. It was really slow, which explains how it was so quiet for my meal, but I’ll take into consideration that it was a mid-day Monday and a holiday. Overall, they have a good menu, interesting variety (not sure what cuisine they define themselves as), but it gives for options if one person is craving one thing and your company another.

Food was amazing! Order the calamari, fried green tomatoes and the sushi! All of the roles were delicious! Our server Tyrone. He was so patient and kind. He made our dining experience memorable.

When we arrived on time for our reservation, nobody seemed to be working anywhere in the restaurant. Took over 5 minutes for anyone to say anything to us and we when we were seated we were told it would still be a few minutes before anyone would be attending to us. There was only a party of 6 and no other patrons seated for dining. When my friends and I looked through our menus, we noticed my menu was different than all the others, and none of them matched the QR code menu. When we were finally approached for a drink order, we inquired as to which menu was accurate and the waitstaff didn't know and wasn't aware there were different versions at all. We hesitantly ordered drinks and my two friends who ordered basic vodka tonic cocktails they were undrinkable. We paid and left for McCormick and Schmick's down the street that was reliably excellent. Would not recommend, won't ever return.

Thrive was amazing! The service was outstanding! Our server was absolutely incredible. She had an impressive knowledge about the menu and provided us with thoughtful recommendations. Not only that, but she even put up with my husband's cheesy Dad jokes. The sushi was beyond excellent, incredibly fresh and delicious. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, including the restrooms. I highly recommend Thrive.

Disappointing. No warm sake only cold bottle? Edamame overcooked. Asked for dish for soy sauce “we don’t have any. Well actually we ran out let me see if they are out of the dishwasher”. Really? Food was ok. Music quite awful. Hate to be so negative but this place feels so mismanaged
