Best clam chowder and steamed clams. We also had the tuna with ginger sauce, cauliflower steak, pork shoulder and Mary’s Chicken. Everything was wonderful. Would definitely dine here again.

Made 8:00 reservation on OT, we were sat promptly but then waited 20 minutes to be greeted and order drinks. Reason given was no one “wrote it down”. That’s how they keep track of tables that need service. Apps and drinks showed up and were delicious. The Dungeness crab cakes were massive and cooked perfectly. French onion soup was extra tasty (Pinot noir) and different than standard French onion soup in a good way. I wavered on whether or not to order dinner due to the delays. Once again the excuse was no one wrote us down on the sheet. We ordered dinner and both meals were excellent. The seafood boil was loaded with all kinds of goodness and plenty of it! The fish and chips were some of the best I ever had. Light, no grease, fish was melt in your mouth soft and amazing homemade tartar. Our server took charge and made sure the rest of the meal went smoothly after a rocky start.

We had a reservation but when they tried to seat us it was lousy spot. We had told them it was a special occasion. So we waited about 15 for a window seat. The server was pleasant but seemed a bit stressed. The salmon I had had no flavor. My husband said the halibut was tasteless. It was quite a lot of money for what we got.

This restaurant was truly amazing. The view of Haystack Rock, the staff, and the food were perfection!!! The seafood was fresh and the prices were very competitive! Everyone that visits Cannon Beach should try this restaurant!

Made a reservation, still got sat in the bar. It was fine but not if you make a reservation specifically for the window seats. Food was good. Crab Mac and Caesar salad were the top dishes. Drinks were strong. It’s weird because people act like it’s a fancy place but it’s a beach side patio restaurant. Even google has an upscale as a descriptor. It has sand on the floor and a very beach vibe so don’t expect a fine dining experience.

Will not return. We have eaten here several times when visiting Cannon Beach, however we will not be going back. The food was not good and although we don't mind paying higher prices for a nice view restaurant, in addition to the food being subpar, the service was lackluster, and the overall experience was really disappointing. Definitely not a fine dining experience.

Wayfarer offers high quality, fresh sea food and fresh produce. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. Knowledgeable staff are pleasant and helpful. Oh, and the view of Haystack Rock and waves crashing into it can't be beat.

Steak for medium had no pink and was well done, potatoes were over cooked and no seasoning. Pork shoulder was over cooked and the sauce tasted like robitussin. The pan fried Razor clam was rubbery and couldn’t even cut with a steak knife. The clam bake was very good! I was very disappointed. I spent too much money and had to get a pizza afterwords.
