The New York Marriott Marquis partners with the world's smallest chef in "Le Petit Chef on Broadway" brought to you by the world-famous creators of Skullmapping and presented by TableMation Studios ™.

Le Petit Chef on Broadway takes place 47-stories above Times Square and is a captivating dining experience that immerses and entertains all the senses. Using Skullmapping technology, a tiny animated French chef prepares a 4-course meal right before your eyes. This culinary adventure provides whimsical, engaging animation that amazes and delights.

This exclusive and limited time experience takes place in The View Restaurant on the 47th floor. The View will NOT rotate for this dining experience. Included in the experience are four courses and a wine pairing.

Très bon repas mais pas de pain disponible dans leurs cuisines et malgré les boulangeries ouvertes, il n’y avait pas de grèves de boulangers contrairement à ce que je pensais…

Went for Le Petit Chef show at The View. The show is wonderful; food was good (wine pairings not so much); service was impeccable. The venue is awful. The Marriott Marquis tries to balance two goals: packing in as many tourists as possible, while keeping out the Times Square randos. As a result, the experience, just to get access, is Kafkaesque. We entered at street level. The dedicated elevator to The View on the 47th floor is on the 3rd floor, to be accessed by a series of escalators. ALL 4 escalators were running DOWN. Simply no way to get to 3rd floor. We finally figured out that we could take an elevator to 8 and then down to 3. (I'll skip over the chaotic scene on each floor as crowds of people tried to figure out which of the the many elevators was going to their floor). So, we're on 3 -- the cavernous events space, with not a single human being in sight -- and the dedicated elevator to The View could only be accessed with key card. We had no card; we were not hotel guests. We had to call and then cool our heels while they sent someone down to fetch us. We had arrived at the hotel's street entrance exactly on time for our reservation and reached the restaurant 17 minutes later -- minus a good deal of stomach lining. Oh, and then there was the small matter of the unadvertised 10% junk "administrative fee" add-on to the bill -- and this was a pricy experience to begin with. The fine print disclosures of various fees and taxes took up (literally) half the menu. The motto of this property seems to be: Let's run the tourists through a maze to soften them up and then rip them off.

Very disappointing. First of all it would be important to inform the clients that tables are maximum for 4 ppl. If you are more than four you will be separated if you want to enjoy the virtual show. Unacceptable especially if you are a family with kids because the family will be split. Secondly the level of service is very poor and the personnel is clearly non trained for a supposed high-level restaurant. During the waiting time for the preparation of the table, the personnel offers you a cocktail (nobody told us what it was, and I have assumed that it was a Spritz, but not sure! Nothing have been offered to our 3 kids) and some appetizers. They put everything on the desk at the entrance and didn’t go through the various clients. Food quality is medium-high, but clearly no wow. Wine pairing is a nightmare. The wine chosen for every dish is simply horrible..Unacceptable for Europeans! Please allow clients to chose a bottle of wine or to pay more to have better quality. At last, we wait 10 minutes (!!!) in a queue to have the elevator and go out…we were waiting for a lady from the restaurant with a badge which allows to call the elevator. Crazy! Animation and virtual show was funny. At the end the price is too high for what you get. And giving a French sounding name to the restaurant will not improve the quality.

Estuve en el restaurante hace 40 años y no tiene el glamour de antaño. El restaurante ya no es giratorio y la publicidad no advierte de ello, el menú es excesivamente caro para lo que es y la comida no es buena. Da la impresión de que el local no ha sido renovado en muchos años, la decoración es pobre, da sensación de dejadez. Gracias, Guillermo

Wait time to be sited too long, food show was nice but dessert was not as expected, decoration outdated and dirty glass to look outside , and then very important if you have a large party you should make sure let then know when make reservation that tables will not be able to be together, because of missing position for show , and on another note restaurant is not the view, and we lost the moving rotation

our waiter didn’t explain what to expect each step of the experience. We found the animation to be very short and not as engaging as we had hoped for. Email for the children was extremely lackluster

Although my overall experience was good, I had a reservation for 8:30pm. The experience did not start until about 9:10pm. It was not as flawless as I felt it should have been. For the amount of money paid for this, I expected no hiccups. With that said I would recommend the experience as this is different than your normal dining options.

Our family of four had an 8:30pm reservation for Le Petit Chef. $1031.00. The event started almost an hour late, because apparently they stalled for a very late arriving party of four. The Petit chef table projections were quite entertaining, and gave us many good laughs. The service also good once it began. The food - quite underwhelming and mediocre at best. Ya live and you learn.

Essen ok, Ambiente und Ablauf sehr ungewöhnlich. Es war sehr kalt im Raum, wie im Internet beschrieben hat sich die Plattform nicht gedreht. Für den Preis war das Ambiente absolut unterste Klasse. Essen und Aufmachung war gut.

Service was phenomenal and the people were extremely nice and accommodating. Didn't like the food except for the dessert. Would've liked more options. Very overpriced. Disappointed the floor didn't rotate and wasn't informed until the day before. Hard to find the place because the elevators don't work unless you had a card.

It’s a scam don’t book here the view been closed since the pandemic and still not open. I got a call 2hrs. Before my reservations telling me that it wasn’t buffet style I still kept my reservations there because Amanda never once told me it was a mix up online that another restaurant is booking under the View.

I booked a reservation at, what I thought was, the view restaurant a few months in advance for my teenage daughter and I. A few hours before our reservation I got a phone call from the receptionist informing us that the restaurant wasn’t currently “the view“ it was now le petite chef and also currently not revolving/under construction or in some kind of transition and that it would be a preset menu for $150-$200 a person depending upon if you got the wine pairing or not . At that point we felt a little stuck being so close to our reservation time which didn’t allow us enough time to pivot to another reservation. We decided to keep the reservation as my husband and I had been there before and figured it would be a good location/experience for the teenage girls we were with. All that being said the place was a joke! They are trying to sell this place as a fancy restaurant with low quality food while trying to entertain you with tacky projector images of cartoon videos clips on the tables. Our bill came and was over $800 as they were now stating it was $200 pp regardless of wine or not I had to spend 20 minutes explaining to the manager about my phone conversation with the receptionist prior to us getting there -they adjusted the bill reflecting the $100 off but there was also a bunch of ridiculous fees and garbage add-ons as well that you should be aware of. Highly disappointed and do not recommend!!!!

Le Petite Chef is a fun idea but the food was substandard at best and the wine was awful. I could have had dinner at one of the finest restaurants in New York for the price. Felt rushed. Definitely not a full house.

Muy mediocre y muy caro. Mala relación precio/ calidad. Restaurante para turistas, nada que ver con el anterior que giraba. Es otro restaurante. No lo recomiendo. El precio final son 250 dólares por persona. River Café si vale la pena

We attended Le Petit Chef at The View. Myself, my daughter and my 8 year old granddaughter had a wonderful experience. Le Petit Chef was magical and entertaining. The food was outstanding. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

We knew going in that the food was going to be mediocre, so I set my expectations appropriately. And I was right. The food is nothing to write home about if you’re a native New Yorker and have SO MANY amazing options! We went here mainly for our kids. They were impressed for the first 15 minutes and got bored. The animation isn’t constant. You probably get 15 minutes total in your 2 hours dining experience, meaning just a few minutes of interactive content right before each course. Ours even had issue half way through so we had to rewatch from the very beginning! Why isn’t there a forward function?TBH, I’m not sure why adults without kids would want to check this place out? We spent over $700 for the experience, was it worth it? Eh. Would I do it again, nope.

A total disappointment of an evening. Staff rather dull, ambience rather cold. No excitement, also very empty, maybe only 5-7 tables at the most. Food OK, but not great. Kind of rushed evening. The only good experience was the video show on our tables, but that's it. Very disappointed.

Le Petit Chef is absolutely the best dining experience in NYC. The food was tasty and well presented. The show would make even the most unhappy person chuckle and even laugh at loud! The waitstaff was very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend this eating experience.

This will be a brutally honest post. So I’ll start with the good: The servers were fantastic and communicative with their service. The animations were amazing and something really to see. Love how they presented it on the tables. Now for the bad….The price I paid does not match the service, food and show I received. From the jump everything was slow paced. I feel like more courses and animations need to be involved for a 2hr+ dinner or just speed up the pace of the 4 courses. While we added the wine pairing we literally sat there with the wine for 20 mins without a first course. Not so much a pairing and the pours were small. The food was mediocre at best and nothing really stood out as memorable. I feel as if there needs to be a couple servers per table to match the show experience as that would create symmetry to the animation when they finish plating in 3D - the plate should arrive in real life. Instead it’s more like wait for the animation to be done and then wait a few moments later to get the food. The vibe of the place should have been more intimate with the lights lowered to set the tone of the animation show. There was no additional decor outside of the photo wall they put up outside the restaurant. Honestly the concept is amazing, but the execution just is not there for me. There’s little changes that could elevate the experience for the next guest. There was no animations on the walls or designs to view as well. Everything was just plain. Paying $540 for two just didnt feel satisfying for the experience.

We were expecting a better service than the one we got. Pleanty restaurants with much better service. We were able to have a glass with no wine through 10 minutes (at least) and that was with half of the Meat Dish on the plate to the beginning of the dessert. Things that can't happen on this kinds of restaurants. That was the biggest stain at an almost perfect dinner.

Its not a revolving restaurant anymore or atleast for now. The set menu does not justify the price. The view is average. The hostess amazing but everyhing else including the projector show very average. I truly never want to write a bad review and this isnt a bad review. Just keep the expectations as acerage you will enjoy. It was thst i expected a lot more. I hope it helps others

The view outside of the windows is nothing spectacular. Our waitress had chipped fingernail polish which for the value of the experience, everything should look presentable. The food without the garnish was pretty average. But everything was cooked to perfection. Great choices on wine pairing
