    We had lunch today on a Tuesday afternoon. Place was crowded. The view was great. The food was great. The only problem I had was it was so noisy. I couldn’t hear what my partner was saying most of the time.

    We had Sunday brunch for our anniversary at The Strand House. The treatment we received there was very special. Everyone was so kind. Extra kudos to Kyla! We will be back!

    We had brunch today at Strand with our wonderful friends. Food was so delicious. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was so wonderful. We will definitely come again.

    We had a great table and very attentive waitress. The food was delicious as well as the drinks. Very fun night with good friends.

    Delicious food and worth the cost. On a clear day, you can see PV and Catalina from the dining area.

    The service we received was excellent. We were on an anniversary dinner and they acknowledged that at various parts of the dinner. They provided us with 2 glasses of champagne as soon as we sat down, a customized menu that said Happy Anniversary, and even though we ordered desert, they also provided us with a separate surprise with their signature donuts with a candle. Thank you The Strand House. On the other end, the food was good, but not at the prices they were charging. Was it worth it? Yes. The customer service (not the food) was worth the price. 100% Recommended.

    The noise level with all of the big parties made it impossible to hear my guests. Also, the lack of valet parking made it difficult for my guests to find a place to park. We are in our late seventies and we can't walk the hilly streets.

    We went here at 7:30 on a Saturday night for dinner for my birthday. It was LOUD. Even with the doors open, there were 2 large (10+) parties on either end of the dining room and it was a struggle to hear my husband across the table from me. One group was several high school girls wearing bralettes and jeans .. too bad they don’t require a dress code. We had a nice table by the windows, but the service was slow, drinks were very mediocre, and my fish entree (Sea Bass) had hardly any flavor. I will say it was cooked perfectly but a shame that it was so incredibly bland. Our Caesar salad was brought out split which was very nice of them to do but mine had hardly any dressing and it took over 5 min to get anyone’s attention for salt and pepper. We don’t come often, saving this for special occasions, but I don’t think we will be back for dinner as this was incredibly disappointing for the price point. There was a note on our reservation that it was for a birthday and there was no acknowledgment or dessert offered. I’d recommend for lunch only after this experience.
