We went for Mother’s Day and it’s was very very enjoyable. Food was great. Waiter went out of his way to please. Everything taste excellent.

I have been before for dinner, and the food was amazing. Today it was "meh." We had brunch, and we were missing sauces on our brunch short ribs and pineapple cheesecake (slice was very small for the pricing). Our waitress was amazing. The food today was just okay. But everyone has a bad day, so we will try again. The ambiance is always on point.

Family and I dined here for brunch to celebrate my son's birthday. The restaurant is nice and located in a great area of Buckhead. The service was great. Most of us enjoyed our food, but my son and father both got the short rib, and they both sent it back because it wasn't good (lacked flavor and overcooked). Fried chicken was good (not the corn cake it comes on though) as was the mushroom omelet (good, but nothing special). However, the fried green tomatoes and deviled eggs were delicious!! I should have just filled up on those.

Front of house understaffed. Several large parties overwhelmed the servers. Left all the 2 and 4 tops to wait. Appetizers came out 5 mins before our drink order. Had to track down servers to place order and for water and drink refills. Pleasant staff but overwhelmed and stressed out. Did not see manager stepping in to help out.

Had a nice table outside, very busy for a Tuesday night. Our server Rachel was very good, professional, friendly and right on top of things. We had the red snapper and the shrimp and grits and they were both very good, good flavor, nice and hot and nicely presented. The one downside was the noise, even on the outdoor patio is was noisy which makes it a bit less than pleasant for having a nice conversation.

Interesting takes on some Southern favorites in a cool upstairs venue. We each had a specialty cocktail then shared an appetizer and two entrees. The spicy pimento cheese that came with the fried green tomatoes was a nice contrast. The braised short rib melted in your mouth and was deliciously nestled atop a creamy smoked Gouda potato puree and spinach. The buttermilk fried chicken was crispy outside and tender and juicy inside. We definitely recommend and will be back.

The Creole Spiced Red Fish was very delicious but the crab stuffed potato purée was not as warm as the red fish. Also the portion of fish was small. The 12 oz. Grilled Bistro Ribeye was tender and delicious but was fatty in some places. Loved the Fashioned Gentleman and Not Your Grandma’s Lemonade cocktails. Excellent service and great atmosphere.

To start, Makayla (spelling) was a fantastic server! If for nothing else we would return just for the atmosphere she created! Luckily, everything was fantastic… the food, drinks, the attention to detail, the options etc. We will be returning in September and are highly looking forward to it. We came for dinner service Jada our serve was amazing! We had 3 apps: Deviled Eggs-Ting Spicy but the flavor was still there Fried Green Tomatoes- AHHHMAZING!!! Can’t skip the pimento cheese White Cheddar Hushpuppies were delicious with the goat and maple sauces. You can taste each flavor separately Mains 2 had Short Rib Pot Roast and 2 had Fried Chicken! Can’t miss with either of those and the hidden gem was the Double Smash Burger. The short rib pot roast was tender and the potatoes and spinach paired perfectly. Taste a bit of wine in the reduction. Fried Chicken was juicy and brined and didn’t miss the bone! Collards were flavorful but sill had a chew which I like! Also ordered 2 sides of Gouda Mac and the Sweet Potato Cornbread for dessert!

My sister and I came for the first time to The Southern Gentleman for brunch and it was fantastic! The place is so chic and has wonderful menu options. Our server, Jay, was so attentive and quick to help us. Definitely going to back again!

The staff was awesome, providing top-notch service throughout our meal. David, the manager was awesome and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious! The steak tartar was a standout, expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. I also tried the fish and pot roast entrees, both of which were amazing and cooked to perfection. Each dish was a delightful experience that left us completely satisfied. Highly recommend this place for a great dining experience where the food and service are both spot on!

Food and service was wonderful. Inside was hot, stuffy and on the loud side. If it were cooler, would definitely be 5 star.

Food was good. The stems on the greens need to be removed before cooking. Had a bowl full of stems. Other than the greens had a nice evening and good food.

I love this restaurant and this was just second time going…while the service was amazing (shout out to my server Ian for trying to get it right), the kitchen and drinks from the bar were a hard swing and miss. Definitely felt like I paid a lot and didn’t really enjoy what I had. This doesn’t normally happen but this won’t stop me from going back and giving it another try.

The Southern Gentleman was an excellent choice to relax and enjoy a great night and ambience. The location is great, the food is superb and the staff is inviting. This is a great place to bring a date, have a work lunch or dinner or to just go alone and enjoy the atmosphere, meet new people and network. 10 out of 10, I do recommend!
