Le restaurant The Six - Calabasas tire son nom de la Société des Six, un groupe d'artistes novateurs de Californie du Nord qui s'est distingué pendant la prohibition, dans les années 1920. Dans un chalet d'Oakland, connu sous le nom de Chow House, les six peintres très unis ont tenu des discussions enflammées sur l'état du monde de l'art, alimentées par des repas maison accompagnés de bière ainsi que de vin maison. Love this place, it never disappoints! The chicken flatbread is a fav along with the buffalo cauliflower and the short rib tacos!

The restrooms were not clean, and all soap dispensers were empty. Wait staff picked up stuff off the floor on put it on our table. It is a nice place with decent food, but hygienic standards are very questionable.

I forgot how much I loved The Six! We hadn’t dined here since the pandemic, and we’re excited to finally get to the new location. The buffalo cauliflower and brussel sprout appetizers were hits with our whole table. My favorite menu item is the garlic noodles!

Didn’t get to eat there because we weren’t yet seated 30 mins after our reservation time. We weren’t given an ETA or an update at all after checking in. It was Valentine’s Day but still some common courtesy would have been nice.

They finally fixed the error on OpenTable, which still had the old location listed. The food and service were very good just as before and were reasonably priced. The old place had more on the menu if I recall but the new menu had something for everyone and all the items our group ordered were finished to the end. The new location is hard to find as there is no overt outer signage unless you look up at the second story of the building where their sign is located. The ambience of the old place was better and was more interesting than the current place which is smaller too. But will definitely visit again. Glad they did not disappear for good after Covid.

This restaurant is no longer open but it still allows you to put your name on the waitlist online. I drove all the way down there just to find out it is closed. NOTHING is listed on the website saying that it is closed. Disappointed to say the least considering we were celebrating something special and could not find another restaurant on a Friday night without a two hour wait.

I have always had good food & service here. They make delicious flatbread/pizzas. They only issue was our food took awhile and when it came out, it was all cold. They were not busy. Either server or runner left food sitting out before serving to us which was disappointing!

We took our two pick teenagers there for a quick dinner and both found something they liked. Service was good and it was a great place to watch the game.

The food was amazing. Server food runners all amazing drinks strong plates are nice portions. We were surprised with a complimentary banana cream pie for the birthday and when I tell you biting into that is euphoric your mouth and stomach will thank you later. We are from Philadelphia and I can guarantee you we will be back not only for the food. But specifically for that banana cream pie.

The food was of high quality and well-prepared, although perhaps not in a very imaginative way (sliced beef on 12 carrots?). This was my 2nd visit, the last time many months ago when the dining was outside. This time dining inside, the noise level was so high, one could only hear the person sitting next to oneself, unless the other person was willing to shout (which people at other tables were only to happy to do). Also, I guess this is one of those restaurants in which your main dish is brought to you even if you're halfway through your salad, and no replacement fork for other dishes. Finally, one of the waiters (the one with tattoos up one of his arms) almost never wore his mask over his nose and mouth, and often didn't even wear it over his nose or mouth (just hanging under his chin). Good food with ample portions at decent prices. But not as pleasant a dining experience as it could have been.

Great food and service was good. Bartender and food runner were very nice, server was okay. It's great to see their menu is back to full potential. Their pizza is delicious and can't ever go wrong there. Forbidden rice & chick/waffle also very delectable!

The words that come to mind when describing the food are: edible yet unrefined and certainly nothing to write home about. Nick, our server, was fabulous, very present, pleasant, helpful, attentive, kind and competent. Thank you Nick! It was rather loud at the restaurant. Great place if you have to have dinner with someone you don’t really want to talk to ;-)

Not that many menu options and a lot of pizzas and flat breads. The service was great and the price is reasonable specially now that everything is super expensive. I would definitely go back when I am eating carbs!

Food was good, but not as good as I remember before Covid. Also, they are adding a service charge into your bill which they don’t mention which most people won’t notice. The fee goes to the service staff, isn’t that what tipping is due? We didn’t lime that.

Terrible service, food took over an hour and didnt taste as expected. Server barely came to the table and rarely checked up on us. Do not eat here.
