We were surprised by the 20% service included to the tab. Wasn't mentionned anywhere and the credit card slip came with a tip line, the waiter did not mention the tip was already included. In addition there was 5% fee on top of the total... We won't go back. If you want to cover costs, do so by increasing menu prices, not by adding hidden fees; it is misleading and borderline dishonest.

Mother’s Day brunch with a 45% surcharge just did not seem like the best Mother’s Day surprise .. no notification or anything. Make sure to read the fine print before dining here.

Overall, the food was very good for a buffet and the service (what little was required, as it amounted to clearing and bringing one round of drinks to the table) was also very good. This is what was disappointing...I specifically chose this restaurant as it did not specify BUFFET. I did NOT want a buffet. But, a little too late to make a change at the time of arrival (particularly with multiple cars coming from different directions...) on Mother's Day. My mom is 96 years old and not able to navigate a buffet...I, of course, waited on my mom. Which meant multiple trips to check things out and tell her what was available. This meant I did not eat much, or get to relax...(it was my Mother's Day, too). Btw, met a lady in the restroom who was equally as surprised as I was that it was a buffet. Please, in the future, clearly state the type of dining.

It was nice experience for Mother’s Day celebration. The ambience was perfect and just what we wanted. The host was very accommodating on our preference of table which is at the lawn area. Food was great. Two thumbs up on that. Service - they need to more attentive to their guests, server and carving station, they need to be more professional & hospitable. We had an issue with the bill but the manager was able to resolve our issue. She was very accommodating and prompt to resolve it. Over all it was a nice experience. There’s always a room for improvement.

We came for Mother's Day brunch which was from 10am-3pm. We had a 12:45pm reservation and had a lovely table on their front lawn, right in front of the boardwalk which made for excellent people watching. The food itself was good (good enough) for a buffet. However, we were glad we got there when we did because despite them replenishing things, it just got to looking very picked over about 2pm - yet it was packed! Crab claws were out (not surprising as I some some greedy diners taking a half dozen or more at a time) and the carving station was very mediocre. They had chicken stuffed with spinach and while it was ok, it was dry and odd. Just basic chicken, grilled chicken, baked chicken, anything other than their presentation would have been great. My husband did not like the filet, at all. I don't eat red meat. Everything needed lots more salt. It was like the chef was cooking for those with dietary issues. Final point - the bathroom situation was AWFUL but a big deal. Two small bathrooms for the ENTIRE restaurant, hotel, pool, lobby area with hundreds of women (many with babies needing changing or helping little kids in the bathroom), others changing their outfits for swimsuits in 1 of the only 2 bathrooms. The line to use the restroom was insane, over 30 minutes. That's simply unacceptable. For $89 bruch or $120 with unlimited sparkling wine, it was fine. They tacked on a 20% tip plus other surcharges. So 2 brunches at $89 and 1 with the sparkline wine came out to $420. Hard to believe brunch for 3 was $420 but it was Mother's Day. The weather was beautiful and made up for a lot of things.

The food is great, as are the views, but ultimately, it’s a total fortune, and for the huge price ($45/kid, $90/adult), they don’t include the juice or coffee, and auto add the tip. It’s a very nice experience, but $400 for two adults and two kids is a bit much. They should at least give me a doggy bag and containers for dinner!

We had a lovely table with a view for Mother's Day Brunch. The food was very good, we really enjoyed the seafood bar. The potatoes were dry and the Halibut was a bit overcooked but we found plenty of yummy things to enjoy. We were quite surprised to see a holiday surcharge and the tip automatically added to the bill. It amounted to over 40%! We would have liked to have been made aware of this, it came as a bit of a surprise to pay $280 for 2 people with just 1 drink. I guess you have to read the fine print!!!

We went to the Mother’s Day buffet brunch. Overall, the selection was good but food wasn’t served at an ideal temperature (hot foods not particularly hot). It was also not a good situation for anyone with food allergies as there were no labels that indicated ingredients and a high potential for cross-contamination. The most irritating part to me was the automatic 20% gratuity that was added to our party of 3. I do typically tip at 20% for table service, however the entire buffet was self-serve. This added a required cost that was not clear up front. They should have just built the tip into the price and let people know that gratuity was included - or let people decide themselves what they would like to tip. The view was very nice, but I likely wouldn’t return. There are other beautiful restaurants in the area where you can have a more pleasant experience.
