Excellent Food , beautiful View, Nice service. But I wonder why the Tower we ordered serves the three plates altogether. It makes no sense to have the fresh oyesters one hour after they are served only because the two others plates need to be eaten first to have them warm. This is a question to the Chef.

There was a big piece of crab shell in the salad. About thumbnail size. Good thing I catch it or my partner wouldn’t acknowledge and pretty sure she will chew on it. I know it’s hand made but end of the day it’s the kitchen need to be aware what’s in the food. Will visit again for sure. It’s always a good spot for dating and meet up.

We enjoyed a special "Dine with a View" deal of $49 per person for prawn stuffed egg rolls with salad greens and finely sliced, crisp apple, very refreshing. The egg rolls came with a mango sauce, very tasty. The entree was alder-grilled salmon, on a bed of risotto, with cherry tomatoes, red pepper, zucchini, peas, baby carrots and green beans. Everything was delicious and we cleaned our plates! We enjoyed a Pinot Gris with dinner. There is always the wonderful view of Vancouver - we had a window table - and even a rainbow in the sky!

We celebrated our Anniversary with enjoying their $50 shrimp spring roll appy and Cedar planked salmon entree (which came with yummy ristto and grilled veggies), and added a fabulous dessert each. Portions were just the right size, and we enjoyed relaxing conversation amongst the quiet backdrop of other diners. Service was great and unhurried. View was a nice bonus, even in the rain.

The service was exceptional, food was delicious, nice and quiet and the scenery although cloudy was beautiful. We will be back, next time when the weather is nicer and when it’s dark outside.

Great hill top view overlooking Vancouver, Stanley park and the harbour. Unfortunately the quality of the food does not measure up to the price and reputation of its location.

We hada most enjoyable evening tonight. We all had the delicious halibut special and loved it. Service was excellent and the sunset topped it off.

Such an iconic location. So many memories! The food was excellent! Service was very good - all in all a delightful dinner. Sad to think they are closing in a year or so - condos!

We went to the Salmon House to celebrate a wedding anniversary. It was a clear day, so we had a beautiful view. The staff were very gracious and the food was amazing, as it always is. It was a perfect evening.

My wife and I went to celebrate Valentine's Day and we both love seafood. My wife had the Sablefish and I had the Alderwood Sockeye with crab cakes a dessert to die for was the Ravioli cheesecake with peach compote. Jessica was so very helpful as we explored the amazing menu. As I said we love seafood so the choices were difficult as everything looked like a wonderful taste sensation. We were not disappointed and were wonderfully pleased as everything met our needs. Jessica helped us select our choices and were pleased with our dinner, drinks, and dessert.

Consistently good food, fresh seafood and veggies. I have heard it might be replaced by townhouses and that would be terrible. This restaurant is a North Shore and British Columbia icon. Keep it right where it is!

We had a virtually flawless experience at the Salmon House on the Hill. Gorgeous view, impeccable service, wonderful food, and a lovely, quiet ambience. It could not have been a better evening out.
