The Restaurant at Convict Lake is widely recognized as the finest restaurant in the Eastern Sierra and a "locals" choice for special occasions. Dine in a romantic and casually elegant atmosphere located just 10 minutes from Mammoth Lakes across from the Mammoth/Yosemite Airport.

Our menu features continental cuisine and such sumptuous specialties as rack of lamb, beef wellington, grass fed beef steaks, fresh seafood and pastas. We have an award-winning wine list including some of the best vintages around the world and a martini bar. If you are not up for a four course meal, enjoy appetizers and drinks at the martini bar in The Lounge. The lounge offers a separate menu and HD TV's to watch your favorite sports.

Have dined here many times over the past 50 years and always have an excellent experience. The food and service are consistently outstanding. Those in my party of three had fresh trout, duck and steak frites, along with salads. All dishes were outstanding. While the pricing is not inexpensive, the costs have not gone up to the same extent as at other fine restaurants. I look forward to dining here again during our next visit to nearby Mammoth Lakes.

Fantastic experience from the food to the service, I 110% recommend eating here at least twice on your visit as I try and eat here once or twice a month!!!!!

I went for my Birthday I’ve heard about this place for years and wanted something special for my 55th Overall I wouldn’t go back The bread was fresh and tasty Presentation of the food was great As far as taste We ordered crab / shrimp cake Wouldn’t order again and I get those every place I travel two My least favorite We ordered the beef Wellington and lamb chops both medium They were both over cooked and need the sauce to give them flavor the potatoes and veggies were good but standard My wifes Wellington tasted more like a pot roast then a tender fillet The waiter asked if everything was ok but prior to us really getting into our meal We spent $14 for a cup of mint ice cream Bill was $175 for over cooked dry meal The service was good The drinks were good and probably the best part for someone that doesn’t drink much I usually don’t write reviews but I was asked my opinion and at this price I felt justified

First time at The Restaurant at Convict Lake. Came during off season but the place was still hopping. The service is very welcoming. The food was really good. In such a remote place it was a bit unexpected to be that good. The wine list is very good. Will make this a regular stop when we come up to the Mammoth area.

A lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting…very friendly, great service and the food was exceptional. The menu offers variety, and dining is also available in the bar.

It is worth it to drive here…food was outstanding! Had a window seat so just gazed at the mountains cradling this resort. Our wine was excellent, Wm Harrison is the label.

We had the venison strip sirloin and Beef Wellington entrees. Both meals were flawlessly prepared. Tableside Bananas Foster topped off the meal. The only downer was a large table nearby with uncorralled younguns running amok 🤩
