We dined on Mother's Day which was very busy, but it didn't impact the quality of the service or food in any way. It was clear that everyone on staff was pitching in to keep the prix fixe menu flowing and well timed. There was never a long delay nor did we ever feel rushed. We were very impressed considering it was a busy holiday.

Please give our thanks to Josh. He wash excellent as was the rest of the staff. Made my mom's first Mother's Day after my father's passing much easier with the food and the bottomless champagne. Very much appreciate you helping to lighten her mood if for just a few hours. Food was outstanding from the beginning course to the very end. I commend you all. We look forward to returning as soon as possible. This has been a wonderful gem of a restaurant in Saratoga that we have been visiting for years.

We had a lovely Mothers Day Brunch ! The food was outstanding, the service was excellent. The staff was exceptionally kind to our granddaughter! We highly, highly recommend this restaurant!!! Truly one of the best!

Visited recently and service was exceptional, waitstaff was incredibly friendly, helpful, & professional (our main server was Emilio, but everyone was wondeful). Ambiance was excellent as well; due to the timing of our meal (dinner, starting around 6PM and lasting several hours, given the tasting menu) we were there when they opened the curtains, which was lovely. The food was great as well, as with most tasting menus, not everything was to my taste, but my dining companions were entranced with everything. They were also very generous with the wine pairings. Was my third visit and will certainly be back in the future!

We throughly enjoyed the tasting menu. There were many nibbles of intense flavor that delighted the palette. All guests were served at the exact same time. The dining room was quiet enough for my elderly parents to hear what was being said. It was a very memorable experience. Get a tour of the wine cellar. It’s spectacular!

Wow, what a wonderful experience! We just finished my birthday dinner at our favorite special occasion restaurant. Unexpectedly, we ended up participating in a “craft cocktail paired dinner” that included “spirit-free cocktails” for our teenage kids. We had a wonderful time with Chef Peter Armellino’s incredibly creative and luxurious cuisine, paired with the amazingly refined creations of cocktail master Chris Ward. We love the wine pairings here, where we get to taste all sorts of great wines perfectly paired with each course. So, we were surprised when we found ourselves saying, “yes, can you make another cocktail for the savory courses,” after my Pocket Pear. My husband and I had four different original creations, and the kids had everything on the Spirit-free menu, and they were all fantastic. It was truly incredible. Great food, great service, great wines, and great special cocktails, all in a very special setting. Thanks to the staff for making it a special evening for us!

Super disappointed by the taste and quality of the food. There wasn’t a single dish in the tasting menu that we enjoyed. The “hot” food wasn’t even hot in temperature. Save your money. Go to other nice restaurants in the bay.

We went for a birthday celebration on a Thursday. The food and service are excellent. We each had our favorite dishes on the set menu: good choices/combination of cuisine with a pleasant presentation; for around three hours, the pace was just right to savor through each course. The service is warm and considerate. They turned on the "chandelier show" while taking pictures, giving us a set of images with different colors of lights in the room, great memories...

We always very impressed with Plumed Horse. It is one of our favorite places to go for celebrations and events. It really deserves a another Michelin star! Everything tastes fresh and creative flavors.

Phenomenal service and such an opulent and delicious tasting menu! The music and decor was a little dated and it was pretty loud at the front, but I didn't mind!

This is such a beautiful and special place. We love the ambiance, the care of the staff, the unique choices that are always mouthwatering! For the price of a king’s ransom, the food was mediocre at best. There was one standout dish that has apparently been on their menu for ages. Nothing else would have justified a meal even 1/3 of the price. It is as though this restaurant lost its way decades ago, when what was valued was formality and familiarity, not food or value, nor creativity, nor quality. So it wasn’t a complete surprise when none of the three waiters assigned to our table noticed that they brought the same exact dish twice. If only it were tasty, we would’ve considered that a bonus. Instead it just highlighted the robotic nature of the meal’s rollout and the servers’ ennui. Never again, sadly.

Going to the Plumed Horse is a life experience. The food, the service, the ambience, it all makes for a time which will always stay with you. While you can go and have a meal, a drink, or tapas there, I feel like the reason to go there SHOULD match how special the experience is.

We had the most amazing dinner celebrating our 29th wedding anniversery, the service is second to none as well as the food portions and ambiance. it was a very relaxing 2.5 hour dinner and loved every minute of it. would highly recommend to anyone for any occasion. The staff is very informative on all their wine selection and food. they provide the perfect pairing for all courses of food served.

First and foremost, this was the absolute most incredible experience. We arrived early for our 7:30 dinner reservation and were greeted with the highest excitement. Taken to have a quick photoshoot inside the beautiful wine room which just set the tone for our amazing experience ahead. We dined in the VIP room with a clear view of the kitchen which made my birthday even more spectacular. Natalie provided impeccable service, wonderful suggestions & was so cheery and enjoyable. Alanna was an absolute queen with service as well. Additionally, it was an honor to be introduced to chef Peter Armellino. I could not recommend this restaurant enough. Any and everyone looking for a phenomenal dining experience from start to finish MUST dine here. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Enjoyed the tasting menu for a birthday dinner. Food was excellent, wine pairings delicious and wait staff incredibly attentive. At the end a special toast to the birthday guy as well. Made for a wonderful evening.

It was overall great. Set menu with excellent selection. The wine pairing was underwhelming to say the least. We would’ve been better of ordering a couple of bottles. For a restaurant reputed for their wine cellar, I was disappointed at the pairing. With food of the quality they served there were way better and more creative original pairings. Of course the finale … port with dessert. No kidding.

The service here is absolutely amazing. Granted, a little pricy but you’re paying for the quality of the food, atmosphere, and service. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a super fancy night out.

With a Michelin star, you expect a different level of service - and that's what was sadly lacking last night. It was Valentines, and I had made my reservation a month prior. In my opinion, the PH didn't staff correctly. Multiple times I had to refill my own water: maybe not a big deal, but for a 1K+ dinner, I want the waiters to do that. I had to raise my hand to get my servers attention to ask for another cocktail drink. The dinner was prefixe - 7 courses - and the time between each plate was upwards of 20 minutes. Which means our dinner was 3 hours long. After hour two, it felt like the servers - at least for our table of two - disappeared. Now, the food was spectacular! I've been there before and the ambiance is what you'd expect. But, wow, the snails-pace of the service left me wife and I frustrated, tired, and really disappointed on what was supposed to be a really special night.

The food was sublime with good service. Suffice it to say, the service could have been better, and not quite to the level of detail associated with a Michelin-starred establishment. We wouldn’t let the rain dampen our Valentine’s Day dinner. But upon entering, no one offered to take our coats or umbrella. During dinner, my fiancée noted that she had to wave down servers to request another glass of wine, and bussers had trouble getting food and proper utensils to the right tables, which seemed unusual given that everyone had the same tasting menu. This was especially evident from the waiter-busser chatter I heard behind me. These are all minor nits to an otherwise delightful Valentine’s dinner. The cadence of service was on-point until the last dessert, the raspberry bombe, which took a while to get to our table. Out of the tasting menu courses, our favorites were the Japanese A5 Wagyu and the coconut sorbet, both amazing in their own right, and I would love to know the recipe of that coconut sorbet!

We are happy with the Valentines sample menu. Food and wine were excellent. Towards the end, the staff was so busy that they missed one pairing wine for us but that was OK and we did not mind at all. Check-in/out services are friendly and excellent. Parking can be challenging depending on the hours of the day, so allocate about 10 minutes to look for parking.
