                                                                                We were greeted by two lovely, pleasant, young ladies upon arrival. No complaints at all about the short while we waited in the bar. The bartender was competent, friendly, and made a very tasty specialty drink for me. However, once we were seated, our server was disinterested in serving us, and more interested in the 6-top next to us. He gave us a cursory glance occasionally, but did not even realize we never received our first course of She Crab Soup! Our main course was delivered and, when we mentioned not receiving the soup to the person who brought our entrees, he had another person come out who offered to send our soup home with us. Since we were visitors to the Bluffton area, that was not a possibility. Our server said he didn’t realize we never received our soup. Obviously, had he been paying attention to us, he would have been aware. He was so indifferent we didn’t bother ordering dessert. By that point we were ready to leave and chalk up our disappointment to his sorry behavior. The food we did receive was very good. While we will not likely visit The Pearl again, several recommendations would be to request a seat opposite of the large room dividers that look like pallets. If there is a musician, request to sit a respectable distance away from him. The musician last night was fine, but my husband has hearing difficulty, so it made his hearing me across the table a bit difficult.

                                                                                Terrible service. We dne here regularly and have never had a bad experience before tonight. The wait staff was snarky and blamed our slow food on our late reservation (7pm). The manager came by to give a completely different which was also fristrating since it became clear the waiter was not telling the truth.

                                                                                Considering it was Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend, everything was fantastic. Started with the Spinach and Arugula Salad which is in my mind the best salad on the menu (and I've tried them all). I have wanted to try the Redfish for my entrée and it was delicious. Flaky, perfectly cooked and with the sauce, Spinach and accompaniments I wished I had tried it on an earlier visit. Thank you to my server and bartender Angie for another delightful evening and to Bill on the keyboards. Alex should be proud of the team has put together both on the floor and in the kitchen! The Pearl is firmly in place as a "gem" in Old Town.

                                                                                We enjoyed the Pearl. I had the filet and my wife had the salmon. Both were very good. We also had the banana and peach bread pudding. It was also very good. We will be back. So far, the best meal we have had in Bluffton/Hilton Head.

                                                                                Such a cute restaurant. Loved the atmosphere, th area it’s in, food was amazing and the staff/service was great Will definitely go back. We sat outside since it wasn’t too hot and had a great dinner

                                                                                The meals were outstanding. The waiter, however, was rude and pompous. It will be a long time, if ever, will I return to the Pearl.
