Le Palm Court de l'emblématique Plaza Hotel a subi une rénovation complète chapeautée par le maître Architecte Thierry Despont. Le Palm Court présente des menus savoureux classiques américains du matin au soir, alors que Despont a su transporté l'esprit de Central Park à l'intérieur, créant une ambiance chaleureuse, intime et glamour. Each evening, guests will be transported to the world of Jay Gatsby and Daisy Buchanan as they savor exquisite culinary delights and sip on the finest Champagnes from Moët & Chandon. $95 per guest includes four cold canapes like Buchanan Baked Potato with Caviar and four hot canapes like the West Egg Quiche Florentine and Jay's Grilled Lamb Lollipop. Each guest gets the Chocolate Cigar with guanaja chocolate mousse and hazelnut crunch.

I had looked forward to tea at the Plaza because I love the room. I got my friends on board and we attended the tea. We arrived to a room that had many empty tables. They sat us near the wall and I was facing a tall grey booth back rather than the room. I adjusted my chair so I could see the room and they objected. I explained that I couldn't see the room and enjoy the ambience. They made no attempt to move us and I didn't want to become adament. I shouldn't have had to. It was with 2 elderly ladies for whom I wanted to show a good time. One had a walker. Could this have been because we're older women, one disabled? Never in my life have I been ignored with a valid complaint in a fine restaurant. One more thing. Not to be unkind but I think the urns of fake flowers brought down the tone of that gorgeous space. So did the treatment.

Thank you especially to our waiter Vladimir! The food and service was outstanding and we loved our postcards. At 5pm the room dimmed and a beautiful lights display came on. Such a special occasion.

We had reservations, arrived early, however we were seated behind the bar wall. The restaurant had more than 50 % open tables at the time . Why did they place our bridal party facing a wall?. The server was nice but didn’t provide great service for the 18% gratuity. Highly disappointed.

The hostess was rude. Our server was very nice. We had The Eloise Tea. It was so overpriced.Awful little sandwiches so thick with butter they were inedible. It was packed with tourists. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Tea at The Plaza is a NYC MUST!!!!! The Palm Court alone is fabulous, but adding a beautiful high tea experience (12 varieties of tea to choose from served HOT in a china pot) including a lovely display of scones (loved the blueberry and plain scones offered this trip that both work perfectly with the jam, lime curd and clotted cream), sandwiches, beautiful pastries, sweets and IMPECCABLE service and it makes for a memorable, thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Perfect for any special occasion- they will make it special with small gifts or unexpected treats!

We were especially impressed with the readiness to help with the dietary needs of one of our party. Thanks Chef! The service was impeccable, very kind and personable. The tea choices were wonderful and the sandwiches and pastries were delightful. Wonderful experience!!

When we arrived at the hotel with a buggy, 1st door man told us we couldn’t use disabled access lift for buggy and to use the steps and then proceeded to ignore us When we asked the second door man to help with the buggy going up the step he stood there counting his cash tips and wouldn’t assist 1 star service for a 5 star hotel

Very attentive service, beautiful location and made special by the staff. Even the Head Chef visited the tables to ensure all guests were satisfied and enjoying their experience! It's not something we would do regularly but a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion.

Very expensive. Not tasty! Bad quality produce! Small portions. Produce was not fresh. We had someone’s hair in our tea. It was disgusting. They did not take tea out of the bill. This place is only good for Instagram photos, but you can do it for free. Walk in in to the building and take photos. Horrible experience. Never going g back and will not recommend to anyone!!!!

Always a pleasure to be in the ambiance of the Plaza. Went for Mother's Day Great Gatsby Tier. Champagne bar was lovely as well as the Palm Court. Service was excellent. The only low point was the taste of the food. Bland and mediocre. I would expect much more from such an iconic establishment. I'm not complaining about the high prices as that was anticipated but would have enjoyed much more if the food was more enjoyable.

Have done several "High Teas" one at the "Brown Palace" in Denver and one at the "Drake" in Chicago. The food fare was very much the same. What made this one "special" it was Mother's Day and saw lots of mother's and daughters. Our waiter was the best part, he'd been working at the Plaza for 30 years and stopped to talk about the hotel. Lovely man, sorry can't recall his name. The "hostess" dresses; black and white fit and flare - very lovely! I want one! Lovely place with a very lovely restroom! Would recommend and would go again.

Enjoyed an amazing Afternoon Tea for Mother‘s Day. Both the food and the tea had been very delicious and the place is just gorgeous! Our waiter Kazi was very attentive, funny and obliging. Would absolutely recommend!

The Plaza is quintessential New York City and quintessential class. The food and drink were outstanding! I felt very special the whole time dining there. Obviously having tea at The Plaza is a more indulgent experience, but for special occasions I’d definitely come back again and again. Highly recommend!!

It was quite a treat to experience "High Tea" at the Plaza Hotel. Overall, it was outstanding on all levels. A great "Mother-Daughter" bonding on Mother's Day.

Disappointing! Over the years the class and allure of this place diminished. The food was mediocre, stuff has no idea about any tea ceremony and customers don't follow dress code. Please visit Amstel hotel in Amsterdam to learn how high tea should be presented!

Was a very nice experience, it was very relaxing and not rushed in any way. They quickly knew and greeted us by name. Service was quick. Would have liked a little more direction on everything, explaining how the menu worked, or where to go when you walked in. There were clearly staff around, but they let us wander like lost dogs for a bit until I approached someone to understand the process. You’re paying for the experience of being at the plaza hotel. Good food, sweet waiter, and more than enough tea! Definitely worth it.

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff (especially Shalim if he is your server, very attentive and knowledgeable and polite). The palm court has a great ambience. Tea was okay (above average), and scones were okay, sandwiches were okay, desserts were a bit too sweet. Good for a bucket list check off but would never repeat for the price for service.

Porfirio was a fabulous, jolly, and attentive server. He made our daughters feel special and he took great care of us. I appreciate the vegan and gluten free menu options too. There were too many sweets and not enough savory options. We were in a sugar coma at the end. Too much sugar.

The experience is worth doing it once. The price for what you get is not worth it. Is over $120 each and it only goes up from there.

Sadly not the experience we hoped for…the palm court seems to be inexplicably open to the public so whilst you’re having the tea there is constant stream of tourists coming in and taking pictures…certainly not the ambience we were looking for…food was very average…very overpriced.

I’ve been going for tea for the past 10 years and look forward to it every time. This time was a disappointment. The service was extremely poor, our waiter never checked on us, we were wanting to order more champagne but weren’t able to because we never saw our waiter. Usually the tea gets poured for us, that didn’t happen. The bread on the sandwiches was stale. We had to flag our waiter down to get the check, when I say we never saw him after our order was taken I’m not making that up. For what we’re spending there the service should be better. In the past we always had the same waiter who was great, so I’m used to better service. When I mentioned the concerns to the host after she asked me how our experience was she just shrugged it off. A big disappointment this time and makes me question going back. Not the service expected at the plaza especially since I’ve experienced better service in the past.

We brought three 5-year-olds to tea. It was a little too sophisticated for them and noticed older children appreciating the experience more. For the price for both kids and adults, tea service is not worth it unless you love tea service foods. I'd rather stop by for a drink to see the Palm Court and not have the full experience.
