Le Palm Court de l'emblématique Plaza Hotel a subi une rénovation complète chapeautée par le maître Architecte Thierry Despont. Le Palm Court présente des menus savoureux classiques américains du matin au soir, alors que Despont a su transporté l'esprit de Central Park à l'intérieur, créant une ambiance chaleureuse, intime et glamour. Le mobilier sur mesure offre une atmosphère détendue, et l'éclairage est bien adapté pour une réunion de déjeuner professionnel ou une soirée de cocktails conçus par le mixologue Brian Van Flandern. L'après-midi, le thé brille vraiment avec une vaisselle personnalisée de la Chine, une liste de thés avec la profondeur du monde, et bien sûr, un peu d'Eloise aussi. Le chef de pâtisserie Matthew Lambie crée des desserts uniques qui combinent sans effort les éléments classiques et modernes, tout en restant fidèle à la hauteur du Palm Court. L'élégante salle à manger est marquée avec un dôme de verre teinté d'une hauteur impressionnante ajoute une touche de vieux New York au sens moderne de l'hospitalité.

We went for afternoon tea with a friend whilst visiting NY from London. I have had a few before in similar London hotels and the Plaza was disappointing. The decor was nice enough but felt dated. The afternoon tea was average, some of the bread was dry, the scones weren’t great and neither were the cakes. I don’t feel the price tag was justified unfortunately. The service was good but not exceptional and we were in and out within an hour.

Afternoon Tea. Service was impeccable. Ambiance was stunning, the food (other than the scones) was very underwhelming.

We LOVED High Tea at the Palm Court!!! Regal, friendly, beautiful surroundings, and the chefs went all out to make each offering visually pretty and extremely tasty!!! Everyone around us were happily commenting to each other. We brought our granddaughter, and we will always remember this elegant treat!!! Don’t miss it!!

We’ve always had the most amazing experience at The Plaza’s High Tea!! We had the best server, Porfirio, who was so complimentary and kind to us and gave us incredible service. We highly recommend, it is an essential in your trip to NYC!

It was a fantastic and unique experience at the iconic Plaza. The ambiance was wonderful, the food was delicious and exquisite with unique flavors, and the service was outstanding. Special thanks to Porfirio for his courteous and professional service.

Great experience having tea at the plaza hotel. Tea was delicious, finger foods were yummy, and ambiance was upscale and inviting.

I had an amazing time there, i went with my husband for my birthday. everything was amazing i highly recommend the afternoon tea experience. i definitely do it again

A wonderful experience but wildly overpriced for what you get. The food was good, but desserts got melty before we could get to them.

Memorable experience as Sous Chef Miguel Tatis and Executive Pastry Chef Kevin Clemenceau came out to personally greet us and inquired about our experience. Every morsel was eclectically delicious with a perfect balance of savory finger sandwiches to beautifully crafted deserts. Each dish was so artfully created that I almost didn’t want to eat them! Chef Miguel and Chef Kevin should be proud of their outstanding creations! The ambiance was wonderful and the selection of teas ranged from traditional earl greys and chai’s to more Asian inspired green teas. Everything was perfect!
