Delightful place, with excellent service, and gentille ambience. Tasting menu was well balanced with delicious fresh produce. The wine pairing was excellent, with one or two exceptional wines. Bravo.

The service was impeccable with numerous staff members ready to make the experience seamless and enjoyable. Maybe more importantly, the food matched the level of service. The food selections were designed to build upon the previous presentation and surpass it and it did every time for us, a tough goal to achieve. The Painted Lady reminds me of a French restaurant where every dish is artfully prepared and an important part of the whole dining experience. Highly recommended.

This was our third visit to Painted Lady, and we were as delighted as we were the first time we ate there. The staff is fabulous ... attentive, engaging, and gifted at anticipating your needs. The food was amazing. Always in awe of the courses placed in front of us. If you are in the Newberg area, this is a must!

High hopes, but… disappointed. The first course of smoked oyster mushrooms was amazing! The rest, well, meh. The wine pairings were highly disappointing. With such fabulous local wines, none of them made it to our table. The service was attentive, but not helpful when we expressed dissatisfaction with the wine. Waited years to come here as friends had talked it up. Same friends were in attendance and agreed it was not what they were expecting either. Not bad, but certainly below expectation.

The food and service are excellent. It is truly a dining experience. I never look at the menu as all the plates are superbly explained when brought to the table. It's only 5 stars because 19 was not an option

From the moment you walk in to that last sip of coffee you are made to feel like family. Hands down the best restaurant in the Willamette Valley, maybe the best in Oregon. Best way to describe the food and wine pairing Michelin Star qualify. Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here and this week our 41st. Thank you Painted Lady Team.

Food was creative and excellent. Better than we expected. We did the wine pairing so we could explore more regional wines. Some wines were very good, but the syrah for the beef course was just too ripe and unstructured for our tastes. We’d love it if we could choose between a standard/intro wine pairing, and perhaps a more ambitious wine pairing. It’s a small place, but perhaps they could offer that with the caveat that unless four people opt in, they will provide the standard option. Even so, it was totally worth it. Lovely service and wonderful experience, thank you!
