Odeon is a consistently great choice for good food, excellent cocktails, terrific service and a real NY ambiance. I’ve been going there for literally decades and I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience. And vegetarians have options! A real & appreciated bonus.

We LOVE the Odeon !! Been going there for 25 years, at least. Now with my store around the corner on Duane street, I always bring my important clients for lunch and dinners. However, I am baffled and disappointed that every time we arrive, the first tables we are offered are the ones by the kitchen door. Not ideal with especially with my high profile clients, but we deal with it.

The team at The Odeon never disappoints! There is a reason restaurants become iconic…and The Odeon and their level of service and the quality of their food are always a “10.” I have been going there for years and will as long as they will be there!

I remember when the Odeon opened more than 40 years ago. I was a Barnard student who babysat for a couple who had moved to Tribeca, then a quiet, barely developed neighborhood. Times have changed, but the Odeon remains a quintessentially Manhattan experience. Great food and drink, fantastic crowd, and winning service, no matter who you are or aren't.

The manager made our lunch even more special as we had just got married and come from city hall !!! It was too much fun, but also felt like home at the same time. Best feeling. Thank you.

It was just another sparkling Friday night at the Odeon - as it has been every Friday night since 1981. The energy was high, cocktails were flowing, the crowd elegant. Roya reigned supreme in her vintage Mexican peasant dress. Other than Raul’s there is probably no other restaurant in New York that has been so consistently popular with the ‘right’ crowd for so long.

My husband and I got married yesterday and The Odeon was our obvious choice for our first meal as newlyweds. The Odeon has become our place for celebrations and yesterday was no different. A big thank you to all the staff for making our special day the most magical day ever. We look forward to celebrating many more occasions at The Odeon.

Had a fabulous evening here. I had the tuna crudo to start and the cod for a main and both were delicious. Their mocktail range was good. Loved the ginger one. Service was great too. Our server gave us loads of lovely recommendations

Every bit as wonderful as the day it opened. Dynamite service, quality of food and ambience. Best onion soup ever. Crazy good veggie nicoise! And leave room for sticky toffee pudding! The service and the ambience are excellent, personal and attentive. Oh and the cappuccino! Yes please!

All and all it was fine. We felt a bit rushed from the time we sat down but they were busy so understand that. Ordered the burger and it was just ok. I would go back for the ambience and location.

It’s literally my favorite space to eat alone or meet a friend. The bar area is spectacular. My entire family loves The Odeon menu, vibe, and the french fries too.

Every time I come to The Odeon, I try to figure out what makes it so great. Every time, I come away thinking it's something else. After this latest visit, I think maybe it's the impeccable service. Who knows? This place is a masterpiece.
