We have eaten at this establishment several times. The food is always superb and the ambience is awesome. It is expensive but worth the price.

The food was outstanding! You can’t find a better view and top notch food and wine anywhere else in McCall. We love the Shore Lodge and the Narrows restaurant lives up to the 5 star quality we’ve come to expect. Highly recommend especially for any special occasion celebration. You can’t go wrong!

Everything for anniversary celebration was lovely, down to the warm chocolate cupcake with raspberry filling. The food was excellent and done in such a creative manner. Fabulous. Chef!

The Narrows Steakhouse provides a very nice place to enjoy a quiet romantic dinner. Service was top notch. Food was good and as expected. I believe prices are a little high but your probably paying for the ambiance.

We celebrated our one year wedding anniversary and decided to stay at Shore Lodge for a few nights. We also decided to reserve a table here during our stay. My wife had never been here before, but I have a few other times and while other times were good experiences, this time it was pretty "meh" for me. I ordered the tenderloin and asked for it to be medium and it was not what I would consider medium; overcooked and did not have what I would usually expect in terms of color and honestly the temperature of the meat seemed somewhat cold. My wife's tenderloin looked to be what I would consider medium but was also a bit on the cool temperature side as well. Also had scallops and they were good for the most part; one was a bit undercooked but very flavorful. The side dish of asparagus was the hit of the meal for us. The service was good and since it was a bit early in the evening the noise level was quiet and conversing was never a problem. And as always the view of the lake was beautiful and added the kind of atmosphere you would expect for a place in this location. But for the prices charged I would have expected better. I could have gotten take out, sat outside of our room and gotten the view of the lake with a meal for a small fraction of the price I paid. The stay in Shore Lodge was an amazing experience; just wish The Narrows Steakhouse could have been to.

Steak melted in your mouth, but the lobster tail was a disappointment. $56 and it was literally 4 bites and gone. Tiny little thing. Tasted great but for what you get it is overpriced. All in all, great tasting food.

Portions were soooo small for the price. Service could have been a little better. Overpriced for just okay food.
