Came here randomly. Won’t be back. The service was good but the prices were exorbitant. Cooking your own food is a fun experience for the kids, I guess, but blowing $400 on overboiled steak and watery cocktails isn’t the best option in town. The bread/cheese fondue and desserts were great, though.

Gavin was a great server and was accommodating to our party of 6 with 3 kids. The whole thing was just so expensive, even for a birthday.

Do not get the 5 course experience, the total was more than 200$ for 2 people but we were served 90$ worth of food. There was supposed to be decorations and “spectacle” that came a long with the meal, but there was only a single sparkler on a cake. Not worth it.

Had a wonderful date night dinner. Food and service were both top notch. Only complaint would be our table was right next to the kitchen entrance. Constant traffic in and out and every time someone goes in, or out they have to yell out “corner” so they don’t run into each other. Not exactly a romantic atmosphere. All the same was a good evening out.

Always fantastic service. Men’s bathroom door was broken in one of the stalls not able to latch and overall cleanliness was rough. Feed was good but those sauces are always ultra small in portions. We had a great time but there is room for improvement to the maintenance.

The lighting was a bit harsh where we sat. Flood lights pointed down directly at us (which were really for lighting artwork on the wall). The wait staff were attentive. The food was good.

Great service and amazing food. This was only our second time there and we were so impressed with the quality of food from start to finish. Our favorite course had to be the dessert course, of course. :)

This was our third time at the Melting Pot in Minneapolis. Every time we come it is a wonderful experience. The food and the staff is always amazing. We celebrated Valentines Day a few days early and it was a great experience.

We went to celebrate our son’s birthday. I barely had enough patience to cook my food, let alone my son’s. The meat was fairly spicy and not that great. It would have been nice to have a couple timers. I couldn’t keep track of the cooking times and keep finding it undercooked. Honestly the fondue cheese and fondue chocolate would have been enough. I would rather have someone cook my main dish and have all the fun dips.

My boyfriend and I went there for a date night because I have always wanted to go and I was so disappointed, Our server was awesome however the food was awful. The cheese was gross and we just got regular Wisconsin cheese nothing fancy, the oil we got was gross I got steak lovers and that was gross the only good thing was the dessert. We paid a total of $150 and I only had 2 bites. Definitely not worth the price.

best date night, hands down! whether it’s your first time or you are a regular - you can never over do MP! You can always mix up your pairings, have just an app or have a whole dinner. Pricing is very fair for the value of your meal choice, the incredible staff, great ambiance, and perfect booths!! So accommodating!!

The food and server were great — Gavin was an amazing server! The host was nowhere to be found for almost 10 minutes when we arrived, and was very short when she finally came. There were 4 groups of people waiting for her and no one was acknowledging us.

Super beautiful experience. Food was amazing ! The waiter was energetic and helpful. He chatted with us and gave us our privacy as well. The hostess did take a bit to get to us when we first arrived but was very personable once she did. Overall the experience was AMAZING and I can’t wait to go back.
