Join us for Afternoon Tea at The Langham Huntington Pasadena, Los Angeles. Enjoy a seasonal menu including mouthwatering sandwiches, baked scones, scrumptious sweets and a flavorful array of tea selections. Delicious Gluten-free and Vegan menus available.

Please include the number of adults (and if they have any dietary allergies) and number of kids (and if they have any dietary allergies in your reservation notes to enable us to best prepare for a seamless experience.

Offered Thursday - Sunday between 10 AM-3:30 PM.

Our grace period for reservations is 15 minutes.

20% Gratuity will be included in all final afternoon tea experiences; all prices exclude tax.

Parking $15 with Afternoon Tea validation.

Join us for a magical journey with The Langham Huntington, Pasadena and the Pasadena Civic Ballet on June 20-21, 2024. We will have seatings on June 20th at 1:00pm and 4:00pm and June 21st at 10:00am and 1:30pm. Seating is limited. For parties of 5 or more, please contact April Gutel at april.gutel@langhamhotels.com. The Pink Princess Summer Tea celebrates dance, springtime and a delectable tea service that only The Langham can create. Pose for photos in the royal princess throne, chat with the Princesses table side and enjoy a 20 minute performance by Princesses from the Pasadena Civic Ballet. All guests will be gifted a special princess crown to commemorate this one-of-a-kind event. Attendees are encouraged to wear pink!

She is a speaker, author, consultant, coach, and founder of The International Etiquette Trainer Society.

This experience used to be so special, but the last couple times I’ve gone it’s been such a disappointment. The service staff is overtaxed, so their attention to detail is poor. For example, they put your hot tea on a side table in order to save space on the main table. But they never came back to refill our cups, and after frustration set in from sipping cold tea, we got up to refill our own cups….several times! The food was also poor. The scones were not fresh, and very dry. They were also not warm. And they don’t provide clotted cream, or any cream for that matter (they only serve milk for the tea…and you have to request it; it’s not automatically on the table. And the “clotted cream” provided for the scones is just whipped cream). A few of the sandwiches were good, but the desserts were woefully subpar. In fact, my 2 guests and I shared a few of them and decided they just weren’t worth the calories, so I took most of them home for my teenage son. He also turned them down. Lastly, it was SO LOUD! Truly. We couldn’t hear one another at our table, and there were only three of us. At $79/head for “regular” tea and $99/head for the “Royal Tea” (a selection that includes a mimosa and some berries), cutting corners like this is unacceptable. I’ve been coming to this location for high tea since it was The Huntington Hotel, and my past few visits to the Langham have been woefully unacceptable. I’ll be moving my special occasion celebrations with friends to the new tea house at The Huntington Library.

We had the royal afternoon tea. The champagne upgrade was well worth it. We enjoyed every minute of it, including the nice walk around the garden and the property. The luxurious and historic hotel setting is beautiful. The service is impeccable and friendly. Some of the items were delicious, but overall, I was overwhelmed with the tea sandwiches and assortments.

Beautiful Hotel is a perfect setting for an afternoon tea. Not your typical afternoon tea but a modern menu and it was delicious. Professional, courteous and knowledgeable service too! Enjoyed my afternoon tea and will be back soon!

We had afternoon tea and were able to make a reservation on short notice. The additional service/tip charge isn't/wasn't appreciated. More savory items would have been preferred vs. the sweet items. The Huntington Library and Garden Tea is a better menu in a quieter environment and less expensive. You are definitely paying extra for the hotel environment. If you have more time to schedule, an alternative may be better for those who are budget conscious.

This was my first time and The Langham for tea. It was spectacular!!! The lobby lounge was gorgeous and my goodness, the harpist, was incredible. Now for the food…it was above and beyond my expectations. The teas were some of the best I have ever experienced. Everything was incredible!! Looking forward to another visit very soon!

Scones were the best part of the afternoon tea package. The tea was good. Dessert was fair. Sandwiches/food underwhelming and disappointing for this type of establishment. The bread used tasted like Wonderbread. Service was great though. Would return for tea and scones only.
