We had a fantastic time celebrating our son‘s graduation at the Knick! My son wanted to have steak, but we were also interested in an eclectic menu that was more affordable and also had a cool vibe! The Knick fit the bill in every way! Thank you! Amazing service too!

I had a really great time! My husband took myself and outer 3 boys out for dinner. We wanted to try somewhere we have never been before. It was very nice and we all had a great time. We ordered so much food we had to take it home! The food was great! Our server was so nice and knowledgeable. She was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I believe her name was Elise? (Might be spelled incorrectly) but she was so sweet. I will definitely be coming back!

I had a fabulous Lingley Martini, it tasted so good. For dinner, I had the Ahi Tuna BLT. The tuna was cooked perfectly. The special aioli complimented all the flavors to pull it all together. It was a wonderful meal.

It was a great night. Devin was very nice and respectful. Ang helped me out with the cake and balloons. All in all, we had a wonderful time. The mood of the restaurant was just right. Great Job.

We sat on the very lovely patio. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. We didn’t feel rushed. The food is high quality and nicely presented. Everything was delicious. This place is one of our favorite places due to the reasons listed above and also the reasonable prices.

The Knick has variety on the brunch menu. Food came out quickly. I question the pricing: my friend’s three pancakes with blueberries cost as much as my two eggs, potatoes, toast. Service is always good and staff friendly.

I'll start with the pros on our experience: the food we had was solid. We had the brussel sprout and crab dip appetizers, both of which were very good. Our mains were also quite good as well. Unfortunately, the service experience was a different story. Our first exposure to the service was a phone call ahead of our dinner to ask about specials and from the moment the woman answered the phone, it was absolutely evident from her tone that should could care less about customer service. Cut to our check in experience for our reservation. The "welcome" was less than warm and when we asked to sit on the enclosed porch, we were told they weren't seating out there because it was too cold, only to see a party get seated there a short while later. Then, the hostess grabbed the menus and just took off to the table, never looking back to see if we were even behind her and she dropped the menus and off she went, without even an "enjoy your meal". Our server was very nice, however, there were some things about that experience too that not great, for a place as nice as the Knick. They had 1/2 priced bottles of wine on Thursdays, and we confirmed that was on ALL bottles, but conveniently they were out of the Veuve Cliquot we asked for (an expensive champagne). It then took our server 4 trips to our table for us to get a dry sparkling to replace the Veuve that we wanted. We all thought that at the Knick, they should at least have minimal knowledge of the wine list to be able to offer suggestions for a dry sparkling. When we were about finished with our meal, the waitress dropped our tab and told us we needed to settle up because her shift was over. Again, at a place of this caliber, we found that to be off-putting. When you sum all of these instances together, while the food was tasty, the overall experience left a bad taste in our mouths.

Definitely one of my top favorite restaurants in Milwaukee for brunch now on. The service and food fantastic.

Hard to read the menu due to very dim lighting. Food ok. Was not informed about upcharging for gluten free products. Server nice.

The salmon sandwich has been my favorite for years and for the first time I was disappointed The slaw and dressing were different and not as tasty and a little dry. Side Caesar salad is always good as is the service.

Sorry the Easter brunch was not extended after 3pm. Went for brunch it was over however the food was great and service was fair. Will return for food

We are regular customers and it’s the first time we tried the happy hour which was beyond spectacular. All the food and drink was of the same quality as when we have dinner there plus outstanding service.

The Knick has the best salads around and my carnivore husband loves their specials and burger offerings. Always great service and good food.

We decided to go here because they accepted reservations, and we have a group of 5 on a Saturday night. Our waiter was fantastic, and the food was good. I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were. I’m glad we checked this place out, and worth the 35 min drive.

Take a hard pass on the brussels sprout appetizer; they were leaves only roasted to black with an excess of sauce. Main meals were OK. If you need warmth on a cold night, try and avoid the tables near the door. Great location though within easy walking distance to the lakefront. May try it again in the summer and utilize patio dining.

Our Server was excellent. I’m not sure how to correctly spell her name but I believe it is Dieadra and apologies in spelling. She’s awesome!! Food was great but my mom’s hand cut fries were soggy. She shared my waffle fries and took hers home to crisp them up. But overall The Knick is great and we will be back. Thank you.

Great food and lovely choices. Everything came out perfectly and tasted great. Our server was not very attentive or quick, it took very long for her to remember to bring out drinks (we could see them ready at the bar) and to check on us, but the food and ambiance made up for it. We went on a Saturday to celebrate my friends birthday. I had made sure I put that in reservation, but none of the staff even wished her a happy birthday which was a little disappointing.

My friend and I both had the Mediterranean salad with blackened chicken added. I like salt, but the chicken was way too salty! Otherwise a great salad. Doing dry January and their blueberry ginger beer mocktail is delicious!

This is the sista' restaurant of Harry's in Shorewood and the menus are similar but with some distinction of specialties and other entrees. Myself and companion were there for a mid day luncheon on a Thursday and had two awesome gal servers -- attentive, refills on water, checking on us frequently. We had just a wonderful time chatting and never felt rushed. The salads were large and plentiful and so DELISH I wish I had more to take home! Street parking was not a problem for us. Will definitely put this on my list of lunch spots to revisit.
