Canucks playoff game seemed to have staff a bit distracted. Bread served barely warm. Caesar brussel sprouts not hot when served. Finally got the servers attention and sent them back. They came back second time NOT hot. I gave up, took them home and heated them up in my microwave. My steak was good but none of our meals were particularly hot.

Food was amazing. It was our waiter who was the issue. He introduced himself as McKenzie. We had to ask him for bread. He pointed at a separate menu and said these are the specials. He was good about topping up our water. He only circled once to ask how our food was. He never asked my daughter if she wanted a drink with her food so we had to ask him for apple juice. The Resturant was blazing hot. My daughter went flushed and had to lay down on my mom’s lap cause she was so hot. When my mom was ordering her food she wanted to switch her starter for an add on with her entree and the waiter was confused on what she was trying to say. He wasn’t as attentive as the other staff. We go here twice a year for anniversary’s and birthdays. We’ve had amazing service before but this was like he was working at Montanas and not a high end Resturant.

Classic Keg! Always a good choice and still predictable after all these years. My only complaint was that the mushrooms were tasteless! (They need some garlic or salt, a little more cooking/browning or something.) Though it is definitely expensive, at least you always know you are going to get a good meal.

We had a typical Keg Experience. Great food, fabulous service with just the right tempo and level of humour which made the evening that Much more the Merry! The food was fabulous as usual and the salmon exceptionally thick and beautifully cooked! The pistachio topping made it magnificent. Looking forward to our next Keg Experience.

The meals were tasty. Steaks done as expected. The service was terrible. 20 minutes to take our order. Server was unattentive and we had to wait to pay. It was also quite noisy.

Crispy cauliflower and the crab cake appetizers were really delicious. Entrees: Prime Rib classic - perfectly cooked and served hot. NY Strip loin - perfectly cooked and served hot. Keg burger - unfortunately served with quite under cooked meat and had to be returned to the kitchen. That was disappointing. Cost was a little high but it was a treat out. Due to under cooked burger and excessive music levels I give a 4/5 * recommendation.

Went in for drinks. We both had one. Bill $27.00 Bread came and was burnt. Service always awesome. I go so often because everything is always good to great. This is the first time I didn't eat. Not a good experience. I will still go to support out local owned place

I had the escargot, which tasted just fine. However, I'm a fan of just butter and garlic rather than what was given. As for the 10oz prime rib, I found it lacked flavour and without the au jus, tasted like cardboard (that's a little harsh but I can't describe it otherwise). I wouldn't try it again, especially at that price.

Everything was good except we find the table small When it is just the two of us. I wish restaurants made a table for two a little bigger. Being older I’m always nervous of knocking something over. It takes away some of the comfort of enjoying a meal out.

We are frequent diners at the Keg on Quadra. This time overall experience was good - the service and ambience and my teriyaki sirloin steak was cooked to perfection. However, iceberg lettuce in the wedge salad wasn't fresh enough - there was a dark grey spot on the iceberg lettuce looked like a mold.

The Keg consistently serves an excellent steak. The sautéed vegetables are an added treat. We treat ourselves a couple times a year to a Keg dinner. The prices are a little high for our budget, but we can do it a couple times a year.
