Nice dinner out with the family. Was a busy Friday night so entrees were slow coming out, but our server was excellent and comped us a dessert for the undue delay.

Nice restaurant but when you make a reservation a few weeks before you don’t expect to be seated in a hallway with a constant trail of customers and servers bashing into your chair Would have likely spent more on drinks if asked or if the seating was more comfortable Food was good portions decent server was busy but attentive

I was sort of disappointed because when I booked online they asked if it was a special occasion and it was our 44th wedding anniversary. The server didn’t even bother to ask us if we were celebrating something which usually they ask. The carrots were only 4 pieces and that too raw and the beans were hard to bite into. For the amount you pay it was not worth it. The appetizer was the best. Also I didn’t mind paying for the dessert but I remember coming in March for my birthday and the dessert was complimentary. Also the server didn’t pay much attention and didn’t even bother asking us how our food tasted.

This visit was a good visit. Hostesses up front wasn't all young girls talking to each other not paying attention to guests but now they have added a male host/manager upfront to get guests to their seats faster and not have people with reservations wait like before. Server for our table was pretty good but should have checked in on us abit more, imo, but overall his service was good. I also noticed that the servers with long hair had their hair pulled back so no hair would touch the food which was my concern before. Overall I'm happy with the food/ service I received.

The steak was good but a bit overcooked for medium rare . People arriving for dinner at happy hour should be served at their table if they wish . Not a big deal. Overall very good .

Previous visit was great; this time a letdown. Anniversary booking and they seated us in the lounge. Food was good until the burnt to crisp broccolini (zero exaggeration) showed up. Black and absolutely burnt; texture of dry hay. Very inconsistent when compared with 5star last visit. Disappointing.

We were three seniors going out to enjoy our evening at The Keg. They surpassed our expectations. Even with a hockey game and a crowded bar and restaurant, it was amazingly pleasant. We were given a wonderful table, away from the busiest area and enjoyed a very lovely visit. We ordered the mushrooms Neptune and the Calamari appetizers to share. .. both amazingly delicious, as always! My friends ordered ribs and I ordered the Prime Rib. Even though I asked them to give my Prime Rib an extra turn in the grill- because 'rare' was too rare for me- it was taken away and returned to me in a polite and timely manner. Hostess was new to her job and managed to stay calm and pleasant all evening. Both the food and the service were perfect! I've been going to the Keg since 1981 and it never disappoints. I think this is such an amazing restaurant chain with high standards to suit every age group!!

I like to think that The Keg is on the high side of Casual Dining and on the low side of Fine Dining. The food and service are always excellent but the last few times I have been in there it has been noisy with kids. You would never know that families are suffering. This was a week-night and there were many families there with children that were disruptive to our conversation. I have kids of my own so I'm not apposed to having them there with their parents but, there should be some way that you can keep these families seated in an area that separate from others that wish to enjoy a casual conversation. I treated and old friend from out of town who I had not seen in over a year. Our conversation was continually interrupted by the family activities at the next booth. I paid over $200 for our meal (no alcohol) and expected the ambience to be more in line with price. But, this is not the first time I have experienced this at this particular Keg and, in the past, have aske to be moved before being served. If I have to pay that kind of money for a meal for two, I may as well go to the Tap Restaurant instead (which is only a few blocks away from Morgan Creek The Keg). If you want to attract diners that enjoy a quiet evening of dining, you should have your host move the families together where they can disrupt each other. Obviously, these families can afford it and they have every right to be there but for a restaurant that bills itself as having a refined casual atmosphere I have been disappointed more than once.

Blackened chicken is too sweet. Couple years back bread used to be soft and used to come wrapped in a white cloth napkin. Now it’s hard and dry. Time to revise the menu

We went early and wanted to sit in the bar and order from the Happy Hour menu but the waiter insisted that we would only save a dollar or 2. So we felt obligated to sit in a dark booth in an almost empty restaurant and order full priced items from the bar menu. The food overall was fine but we felt pressured to remain in an area and setting that were not to our preference.e

I asked for my steak to be cooked medium. It was served very rare and bloody. It came with beets and over cooked Brocolli. Not appealing. The steak ended up not having any flavour after being cooked a little more. For the price of the meal, the foot was very mediocre. I have eaten at the keg before and have enjoyed my food very much. The highlight of my meal was the appetizer brocollini. It was amazing!! The waitress was lovely. She did comp the meal that didn’t taste so great.

Everything was great. However, I would ask to not be seated by the air conditioning vent next time. I was so cold. The server did try to find me a blanket, so that was sweet of her.

The service was the best. We were looked after very well. The drinks, apps, and then the main came with just enough spacing I between to enjoy each one. The food was wonderful. This was an anniversary dinner and it was the best.

Our service was slow, and our food was poor for the cost. Normally the Keg is a big hit but my broccoli was a bit charred, my cauliflower mash had no flavour. Overall disappointing which is unfortunate as it was our anniversary night and had high hopes.
