Five of us shared appetizers and two ordered burgers. The escargot plate somehow didn't have any escargot just mushrooms. When one of our party pointed it out to the server a new plate came to our table and was delicious. A staff member came over to apologize and took that charge off of the total. We all ate our fill and the total was most reasonable. One of our group was having a birthday and we were surprised to get a dessert. A most pleasant evening. I entered my friend's text number so please remove that from your records for the future. Thanks.

Our server Ally was amazingly friendly, well-versed and attentive. She seemed to treat all customers with great care. It was our anniversary. The Keg staff were all so caring. We were fortunate to have the Snow Crab special, the amount of crab was outstanding.

We had different servers coming to our table but non of them took any of our dirty dishes away. Even our guest commented that they don't pick up our dirty dishes.

We visited the keg on a very busy Mother’s Day and even with all of the noise and crowds we had a great experience with great food. We would definitely go here again.

Had a bad experience at this The Keg so I wouldnt recommend. Food took almost an hour to arrive, service was poor, and got a pretty bad stomache ache afterwards.

We had gone to this Keg location within 2 weeks of this visit and had a very positive experience. This latest trip was a disappointment. Device was far inferior to our previous visit. The food was also inferior to our previous visit. We were disappointed enough that we likely won't be back!!

The service and the meal were excellent. We both had filet mignon, which were done exactly to our taste. My double baked potato was tasty, and the Caesar salad was amply covered with parmesan cheese. Our server took the time to select the fine Grenache red wine to go with our meal. We chose to be seated in the quiet dining room part of the restaurant, which was wise because the general noise level is high in the restaurant.

We had a reservation for 8:00 and arrived right on time. After sitting down and ordering drinks the waiting started. We waited for our drinks almost 15 minutes and also waited for our complimentary bread which arrived shortly after our drinks. 9:00 arrived and I was just about to enquire about our food. Our hostess beat me to it and came over to the table to apologize for the delay and assured us the food was on its way. About 10 minutes later the food arrived to the table delivered with an apology for the delay. When the bill came the waitress made a big deal about having the bill VIP’d. That meant we received 10% off our main dishes, about $12 off a $160 bill. Nice touch and appreciated it because we did not ask for anything nor did we make a big about it. However, this is a restaurant in a busy tourist destination. There was lots of staff on and no line up to get in. No real excuse in my opinion for waiting so long for our food. Food tasted pretty good but did not wow any of our table and the portions were mediocre. For the price we paid and what we received, combined with pitifully slow service I will not be returning to this location.

Went to the Keg at GI for Mother's Day. My son ordered NY steak and lobster and a butter warmer was brought out in advance of the meal as is customary for the butter to heat. Unfortunately, the butter never did heat up. The butter warmer was replaced after we complained and it too did not work. The same thing happened to us at a downtown Keg a few months ago and the waitress mentioned this was not an uncommon issue. The Manager apologized and steamed butter was provided, but it cooled off quickly. Rather than enjoying steak and lobster together my son's entire meal ended up getting cold while he waited for the lobster to heat. The Manager came by a 2nd time and apologized profusely. To her credit we received a discount for roughly half the meal and a free desert. The 3 star review reflects the consequences of my son being very unhappy with his meal and waiting while the rest of us ate....at total mood killer. In the end, he ate around half of his meal but it was not a good experience. We won't order lobster at any Keg until we see that they have changed their butter warmers.....something that appears to be long overdue. The bill was $250 with tip for 4 meals (one of which was cheese toast and a caeser salad), no appetizers and no alcohol AFTER the discount!! Not cheap and all together too expensive for what was a frustrating experience.

We made a last minute reservation and let them know in advance that we have to be out within 1.25 hrs as we were attending a play on Granville Island Theater. Everything went great and we made the play right on time. Thanks

Great evening. Food was delicious and the servings were plentiful. I took half my steak home! It had been a very long time since I last visited the Keg on Granville Island. After this visit, I’ll be seeing you more often.

Robert is an awesome server, very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant did run out of chives for my baked potato. I'm not sure how that happens. Otherwise, the food was excellent. One suggestion I would make is that perhaps the hosteses could make guests aware that the parking regulations on Granville Island have changed. Luckily the ticket I received was just a warning

Steak is always as good as promised! Service seems to be getting worse. No care with placing utensils and bread plates, as if we were at the corner burger place. No finesse and certainly zero restaurant service skills. I know its hard to recruit but a minimum service etiquette training is necessary. Turn steak (or main meat) plate so steak in in front of customer, learn how to serve wine properly, etc. Food is 4 service is 2 on this visit! Thank you.

Our server was excellent and my sirloin Oscar was delicious! I gave the experience a 4/5 as a steak is not exactly an inexpensive meal. But that’s not the restaurant’s fault. It was a great meal and the service was very good!

Decent server. However, I was only asked how “everything tasted” after the first bite of salad. Never saw her again until drink was refilled without interaction. Twice baked potato was a quadruple baked potato. Rib steak was well cooked and seasoned, but had two veins of gristle running through. I would have mentioned it to the server, but she never asked how the meal was. The fries were great.
